You say you know,
But what do you know?
A preacher can preach,
But what his word is to be interpreted.
So what is it you've learned,
That which I've claimed.
Like a preacher,
You can't see my words.
You can't see what I see,
You dont know what I know.
Only I know what I know,
And only I will ever know.
I hate you,
I love you,
What's the difference?
One you don't see,
The other I preach.
Either way they mean so little,
But they mean so much.
I've tried to show you,
But you can't see can you?
Or can you see,
But you wish to question?
Maybe you don't question,
Maybe you don't care.
I have so little,
Aside from my words.
Maybe I don't care,
Maybe I know my words are worthless.
I'm a fool after all,
I've chased the simplest dreams.
You claim my chase,
Was not in vain.
It was not hurtful,
It was helpful,
But was it?
I question that much,
No matter how hard I try,
I can't help but question.
I could have given up,
But you told me not to,
So I gave chase.
I took what I wanted,
Should I have?
Did I kill something,
Or did I save it?
If I gave up,
How much would I lose?
If I chose to let go,
What would you gain?
I may be no almighty,
But I can see.
I already have.
I see what would happen,
If I let you free.
The world is inverted,
As my word is its fear.
I'm the only lie left.
Or is the world a lie,
And I the last truth?
