The same they all were
except for one,
except for him.
The silent but forever yielding boy
he who passed like the wind
none would whisper
although there was one
one who knew his name
but her existence known to none
two began to know
but few could throw
the answer that was his silence
woe unto thee, he would pronounce
but alas he was silenced
the one who had understood
cried in silence
the whip dragging her away
the two, keeping parallel
but forever tied together
within the confines of the coffin
forever beneath they lie
six feet under
