I hear the tiny voices in the dark,
Their little mouths the whisper hark!
I listen closely to tiny secrets,
Little secrets with most regrets.
Their utmost whim I hear,
Its the words I hate and fear.
"You're nothing but hate,
And all we did was wait!"
"You're nothing what you wanted,
And so now you'll just be haunted!"
I felt the tear roll down my cheek,
Reminding me I'm small and meek.
"You shouldn't stop til the back is bare,
Anf you'll finally know what your father bears!"
I only carry a small weight,
But it was far too much for me to wait.
