The mark between death and life,
The eternal curse.
That which humans seek without understanding.
What do they know of immortality?
What do they hope to gain?
What do they know about gods?
That which was addressed as a blessing,
Is not quite what it seems.
A curse hidden as a blessing,
Evil hidden as good.
Tears hidden behind a smile.
The only fears we should have,
Are those of immortality and fear itself.
Step away from the old ways,
Find your own path,
Not that of your forefathers.
