"Hello." I said
"Hey Kitten." Kitten, I liked it. "Wanna catch a movie or something later on? I'll show you around." He winked and I smirked back.
"Y-Yeah Dal, Thats f-fine. Let me change real quick." I hope he doesn't think it's a date or something, but some part of me hopes it is. He seems like trouble and I like it.
Quickly changing into some ripped jeans and a black T-shirt I walked out into the living room and grabbed my backpack. "Ready?"
"Yeah"
"Where are you going Kaya?" Soda asked.
"Oh, Dallas here is showing me around town." I responded
"Okay, can I talk to you real quick?" He grabbed my arm without waiting for a response and took me to our room. "Kaya, I don't want you dating him. He gets into trouble a lot." Clearly Soda has missed out some recent Kaya news... "He is a good friend and all but... I just don't want you to get hurt. Dallas is broken. He doesn't know how to love. I don't want him breaking you too. Okay Ky?"
Im broken too Soda!!!  I wanted to say but didn't, "Soda... I just met him!! We aren't dating and we won't. You know I don't fall for people and you know it's hard for me too anyways. I won't get hurt. I won't let myself. You of all people should know that." His facial expression relaxed once I finished.
"Okay Ky. Just know that. I love you and don't want you getting hurt."
"Thanks Sodapop that means a lot." We got up and I left with Dally. As we were walking down the road I stopped and realized the sun was setting. "Dallas look at the sun!! Isn't it beautiful?" Dallas looked up and a grim look flashed across his face.
"I don't dig that sorta stuff."
"That's depressing." I looked at him. He just shrugged and started to walk away.
"Why not?" I was so confused. How could a person not enjoy a sunset??? It's absolutely absurd.
"Sunrises are more of my kinda thing." His eyes looked to the sun and fell down to the ground. "I don't like how the light fades to darkness in a sunset. A sunrise goes from dark to light."
In the few hours I've known him, never ever in a million years would I have thought Dallas Winston to say something like that. I couldn't respond so we kept walking, and I kept thinking about what he said. Dallas seemed shattered. I looked up at him as we walked. His jawline, his eyes, his hair. He looked beautifully human.
"This is boring. Let's have some fun." He whispered as we walked into a store. He grabbed some cans of spray paint and looked around.
"Don't say a word." He said as he put them in my backpack. The clerk was watching us intently. I suppose he knew who Dallas was. Grabbing a switchblade, we ran out of the store.
"HEY STOP!!! THIEVES!!!!!!"
We laughed as we ran off into the darkness. "What the bloody hell you trying to do Winston? What're we doing?"
"We, my dear Kitten, are getting revenge." Raising his arms and walking backwards as he talked. "Last week i got my lovely girlfriend cheating on me while I was in the cooler. So tonight, we get her back."
I was liking this idea.
