"You and me. It's risky."

"When you find someone, that makes your heart skip a beat and beat out of your chest at the same time. You take that risk... No matter what, I'd still choose you."

"Did you even shower last night?" Johnny asked as I let him bandage the cuts and scrapes all over me. Including the ones I'd made myself. I trusted him. I sat on the sink, my feet dangling over the tile.

"No."

"Are you okay?"

"No." Johnny stood up and looked at me. The Silence was deafening.

"Darry hit him pretty hard and he didn't fight back. His face is all bruised and swollen and... and I think I heard him crying." He started to bring a wet rag to my face when he stopped. I started to cry again. He wiped the tears off with his fingers instead. "It's gonna be okay."

"He's going to break you." Soda told me when I told him about Dal and I. I should have listened when he said he was dangerous. But I guess the ice melted and put out the fire. Leaving both extinguished.

I laid on the bed with Lilly beside me. Two-Bit left me with his sister to go drink. She was still a baby and couldn't walk yet. I didn't like kids which made it very difficult.

"Shhh its okay." I picked her up as she started to cry. "Dear god, please kill me."

"Stop it! Just feed her." Soda tossed me a bottle as Steve tried to give me cake but I moved my head away. She started to cry louder.

"Shut her up!!!" Dallas shouted from the living room. I rolled my eyes as Soda closed the door.

"I hate kids." I placed her in Steve's lap as I grabbed a cigarette. I started to light it when Soda shoved me off the bed.

"No smoking by the baby." I flipped him off and I went outside. Dally followed me. I didn't stop, I kept walking to wherever my feet would lead me. He caught up me to and slipped his hand in my back pocket.

I pulled away slightly, causing him to take his hand out. "This is risky."

"What is?" We stopped in the center of the road, I puffed out a cloud of smoke.

"This. All of this."

"You-

"You and me. It's risky. " I looked at him, thinking I choose to be happy. And that means letting you go.

"When you find someone, that makes your heart skip a beat and beat out of your chest at the same time. You take that risk." He pauses and grabs my hand. "No matter what, I'd still choose you." I wanted to let him go. For him to be free with any girl he wants. The hot greaser girls who wear skintight pants or short skirts flaunting everything they have. Not a girl like me who wear jeans that don't show anything because there is nothing there to see. I just wanted him to remember that I was there when nobody else was. When nobody else gave a damn, I did. But he chose me. And I didn't see that coming.

"Winston. You got me fucked up." I told him and I walked away. Leaving him standing in the middle of the lonely road.

I found myself in front of the hippie house. Where all the hippie kids went to do their smoking and drugs. I didn't bother knocking when I walked in. Immediately group of them looked at me. I realized how different I looked from them. They had brown leather string necklaces and flowers and flowy skirts or vests. They all had long hair even the boys. I wore a leather jacket with a white shirt and jeans.

"What've ya got for me M&M?" I asked one of the boys sitting on the floor. I only knew him because some of Pony's friends knew him. Tim Shepards gang jump him pretty often, and sometimes I'd join.
