"He looks at you in a way that should illegal."

We walked into one of the three rooms. It was huge until I saw mine and Dal's. Theirs had two queen beds, a tv, radio and a small bathroom with a very large mirror. Mine and Dal's had a huge king size bed with a sofa, tv, radio, lamp, and huge bathroom with two sinks. Both had a balcony looking out over the city and the ocean.

"GUYS LISTEN!!" I shouted. They were all jumping on the beds and playing on the balcony. Johnny stood silently taking in the view. The way he looked at the city reminded me of Logan. Logan looked at things differently, like Johnny. Except Logan was dangerous. Johnny couldn't hurt anyone.
"Rest up until tomorrow. We leave to beach at 12."

"What about dinner?" Asked Steve.

"I'll get some pizza from down the road."

I spent the rest of the afternoon with Dally in our room. After a while we laid on the bed, I was leaned against his bare chest as we watched The Twilight Zone. His thumb cirlcled on my wrist.

"I like your scars." He said suddenly.

"I don't."

"They just prove you're human." I looked at them, the faded white lines on my wrists and thighs were nothing but reminders of my past. Memories were good to visit but not to live in.

"Incurable, the human disease." I laughed.

"That why you chose an alien?" He poked the side of chest. The reason a chose an alien was because of the natural longing humans have. They need to know if there are other beings out there, other living things. They don't want to be alone in this huge universe. So they look for the extra terrestrial.

"No I chose it because it looked cool." I lied. He laughed. We stayed like that for a while until I fell asleep.

"Its amazing isn't it?" Logan stood in front of me. "The trees I mean. Isn't it?" a forest of trees stood around us, stronger than any man made object.

"Yeah. I wish I were as strong as they were." I looked at him. He looked real.

"But you arent." His eyes went dark, all light was drained, and he started walking towards me. He wasn't real. "You never will be strong enough. Neither will he." Dallas suddenly appeared, tied down to a chair, bounded by ropes.

"Dallas!!" I went to untie him, but only felt pain scatter around my back. I went limp, I couldn't move. I could barely see, it was all a blur.

"He isn't strong." Logan held a gun to his head, I couldn't move to stop him. The sound of the bullet rang through the air.

"DALLAS!!!" I jolted awake. Dallas immediately held me and looked at me.

"Kaya, baby. It's alright. Stop it!!" My nails dug into his skin. I scanned his face. No bullet hole. He was okay. I realized I wasn't breathing and gasped for air. "Kaya, what happened. It's okay." Tears started to well in my eyes.

"I-I lost you, again." My hand found its way to his face. He felt real.

"Again?"

"Where's Sodapop?"

"In The other room. Kaya-

"Let's go find them and eat." I pulled my hair into a ponytail and my old chucks. I didn't want Dallas to know about what was in my nightmares. He already treated me like I would break at any moment. I didn't want thats. Everyone was tired so we all got into the van with Steve driving. We walked into Rock Bottom, a corner restaurant near the beach.
