Robert glanced at Jess “It is weird to think he’s dead”

Both were still on the floor, in each other’s arms

“He would kill you himself, if no one came”

“If you didn’t come. You saved me, baby”

Jess half smiled “I did not, I just… I was in panic, because someone was an idiot”

He looked down “It is still weird to know he’s dead”

“I know. Well, I don’t want to sound evil, but better him than you. What would I do without you?”

Robert smiled, his heart swelling “I love you”

“And I love you” she kissed him “Now, you need medical assistance”

“I am fine, look” He held her hand to touch his heart “It is getting normal”

“You’re injured, Rob. C’mon” She helped him standing.

“ROBERT!” Both heard Nicole Williams breaking through the door, quickly hugging Robert.

Jessica frowned, jitters starting to grow inside her

“What are you doing here?” Robert asked

“I was so worried, Robert!” she cried “I’m sorry I was acting like a child before…” she hugged him tight “I’m sorry…”

“Nicole…” Robert took a deep breath “I’m sorry too. I’m sorry that I didn’t tell you before. I have always been honest with you”

“But you never cheated on me, Robert. Why now?”

“I don’t feel like I’ve cheated on you…” Robert glanced at Jessica, who walked to Matthews.

“What?!”

“Nicole, you know me. And you know yourself as well. We were never more than friends. We just… had benefits”

“I bloody love you, Robert!” She yelled, tears in her eyes

“I’m sorry, Nicole. You were always great to me. But my heart always belonged to Jessica Carter”

She looked at him, heartbroken “Always?!”

Her eyes widened when she realized “Is that…?”

Robert nodded “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you”

Nicole cried, speechless.

“I don’t want to lose you, Robert”

Robert leaned against the wall for support "I was never really yours to loose, Nicole. I’m sorry”

She hugged him, before leaving the place in tears.

He felt bad for her, he really did.

“Robert…” Jessica came back “Let’s go…” she helped him walking

“That was hard…” he looked at her

“I’m sorry” She glanced at him.

He stopped both “Don’t. I don’t regret it. I love you, Jess. There’s no one else I want. And there is no one else around us anymore”

She smiled sadly “I love you, baby” she kissed him

“Ohhh, I should advise you paparazzi can see you now” Matthews spoke as they were kissing near the door

Robert smiled at Jessica “Can you handle the press now, Jessica?”

“I can handle anything, as long as I have you” she kissed him passionately, and made sure to kiss him the same when both were already outside the house, where everyone saw them.

"Robert! Are you alright?!" Some yelled, far away.

They were at the ambulance

"Who is that?!"

"Why did Nicole Williams left in tears? Do you confirm the breakup?!"

"Is the President dead?!"

"Will you play again?!"

Jessica looked at them, not leaving Robert's hand.

She did not care anymore.

She was not letting their relationship get harmed by tabloids, ever again.
