WAY - Chapter 26

Selena's POV

"God this room is so beautiful" Demi smiled in awe as stood in front of the window, looking around the fairly large room with two beds beside each other and a fireplace with a tv hung just above it in front of the two beds.

"And the view" she continued turning to look out the window making me chuckle at her actions. I slowly made my way over to her as we stood in front of the window looking out at the large frozen lake just down the driveway, of course, surrounded by trees.

"If only it was summer" she pouted slightly. "I know right. The birds chirping, late night fires with roasted marshmallows" I began before I heard myself get cut off. "Swimming with hot shirtless boys, soaking up the sun while laying in the soft sand" she moaned and I couldn't help but close my eyes and imagine the scenery.

"You know we could always just come back in the summer" we both turned screaming only to see Justin and Ryan leaning against the door frame smirking. "Man why did you talk I wanted to hear her moan!" Ryan shot looking over at Justin only to cause Demi to gasp. "Ryan!" she screamed making him laugh.

"Run" I heard Justin mutter before turning to see Demi walking over to Ryan. Ryan cursed under his breath before running back into the hallway followed by Demi leaving me and Justin laughing at the strange couple.

"So I'm guessing you'd want to come back in the summer? I mean, swimming with hot shirtless boys?" Justin smirked causing me to roll my eyes. "Demi said that thank you very much" I told him before turning back to look out the window.

Suddenly, I felt two strong arms wrap around my waist and a chin rested on my shoulder making my heart skip a beat. "It's actually quite beautiful in the summer" Justin whispered next to my ear sending shivers down my spine.

"I can imagine" I replied trying to keep it cool, but deep down I wanted to kiss him so bad. After a moment of silence, I felt Justin raise his head and I could feel his eyes burning into my skin. I tried to fight the urge to look back up at him, to keep my gaze locked on the window, but when I saw his reflection I couldn't stop myself from turning my head.

His arms still wrapped around my waist, I watched as his eyes travel from mine, down to my lips, and I couldn't help but do the same. Flicking his eyes from my lips back to my eyes then back down, he slowly started to lean in, and I felt myself doing the same.

Before he could dip his head down, we heard footsteps from the hallway causing us to snap back into reality and pull away from one another.

"Guys, you gotta come and see this" Chaz laughed as he stood in front of the door before turning around and ran back down the hallway. I looked over at Justin who was already following Chaz making me let out a sigh. Damn it Chaz

"Demi give me back my clothes!" I heard Ryan yell from outside making me awfully confused. I quickly hurried down the stairs before jogging out onto the porch where the rest stood laughing hysterically.

Stepping closer, I looked over Justin's shoulder to see Demi holding a bunch of clothes in her hand as Ryan stood there in just a towel. "What happened?" I asked Justin who was literally laughing his ass off.

"Ryan was about to take a shower and Demi took his clothes and she was going to put it up onto the clothesline with the rest of his clothes hidden but he caught her and chased her out here" Ariana replied and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Alright that's enough! Come on Demi give him back his clothes before he starts crying" Demi's mom said in between laughs making us laugh even harder. After watching Demi trying to catch her breath, she took a few steps closer to Ryan before handing him his clothes.

He quickly tugged his jeans on from under his towel before dropping the towel and slipped on his shirt. "Where are my boxers?" Ryan asked Demi who just shrugged innocently. "Seriously where are my boxers?" Ryan asked again.

The rest of us began to look around as Demi wasn't holding it in her hands.

"Woo hoo!" we heard someone shout from above our heads. Me, Justin, Ariana, Sammy, Chaz, and Justin's family all ran down the steps before looking up at the roof to see Nathan holding onto a pole and just at the top were a pair of Spiderman boxers, waving in the air.

My hand flew up to my mouth, trying to hold back the laughs but when I heard everyone laughing, I couldn't contain it anymore. "Demi!" we all turned to see Ryan chasing Demi through the snow.

"See you wouldn't have gotten any of this with your old friends now would you?" I heard Justin say beside me. "You wouldn't have gotten any of this in Hollywood now would you?" I smirked back at him only to get an eye roll from his as a small grin played upon his lips as we both looked back at Ryan pinning Demi down in the snow making her scream, most likely from the coldness.

"You're an ass Ryan" I looked over to see Demi wrapped in a blanket walking over to the couches where we were all sitting by the fireplace. "Yet you still love me" Ryan grinned making Demi roll her eyes as she sat down next to him making him wrap his arm around her. "I wouldn't say love" Demi muttered making us chuckle.

"Alright kids, keep it down. The kids are asleep and were gonna go to bed so good night and we'll see you guys in the morning" Justin's mom said as she stood on the bottom step looking into the living room.

"Good night" we all said before she walked back upstairs. "Isn't weird that both of your parents and your moms boyfriend who also happens to be your manager are here together?" Chaz asked Justin out of nowhere.

"Obviously it's weird but what the hell am I going to do about it?" Justin questioned. "Do you think he's going to make you go back to LA or something?" Sammy asked. "I don't know. I sure as hell hope not though. I like it here" Justin smiled before looking over at me and I felt my cheeks heat up before I looked over at a smirking Demi.

"We should play truth or dare!" Ariana chirped excitedly. We all looked around at one another. "I'm in" Chaz agreed first. "Sure why not?" Ryan added. "Alright but let's go down in the game room so we won't wake up anyone" Justin said.
