Chapter Eleven

"I want more?"-halos di ko na matapos yung kinakain ko dahil kanina pa hingi hingi sa akin si Sean. Good thing, meron nga pala kaming binake ni mommy na cup cakes and cakes then my water dito sa lobby sa library.

Dalawa palang yung nakakain ko pero yung taong kasama ko parang di na kumain ng isang taon sa kakahingi.

"Alam mo, kunin mo na lahat yan."-I said to him while handling him my bag.

" Thanks, although it's your fault kung bakit nandito tayo ngayon"-di ko mapigilang mapairap dahil sa paninisi na naman niya. Can't he drop that subject? Nakakabingi eh.

Pagkatapos naming kumain di pa rin siya tapos sa kaka-complain.

"I should be at my unit by this time and resting."-sige magparinig ka pa.

"Saan tayo matutulog dito?"-take him too long to ask that.

"Well? Di ko rin alam. Nasa car mo yung phone mo while yung sa akin ay dead batt. Naka-off na yung fuse kaya di na natin mabubuksan yung ikaw or yung aircon. We are here in library which mean we stuck with books. I don't know neither what to do."

"Are you saying we should study na lang?"-asar na tanong niya pagkatapos ng maiksing monologue ko.

"No, I'm just saying wala tayong matutulugan dito."

"I know because this is library, now are you saying I'm stupid?"

"Ikaw ang nagsabi niya at di ako. Dito na lang tayo sa tabi ng entrance door para medyo maliwanag."-sabi ko sa kanya sabay upo sa sahig sa tabi ng pinto. May liwanag na nanggagaling sa labas.

"I'm so tired. All want right now is my bed"-sabi siya sabay upo sa tabi ko.

"Me too"-sabi ko. Inilatag ko na yung nahanap naming karton kanina. God. We paid a generous amount of money in this school and we sleeping like a hobo here.

I remove my blazer. Ginawa ko ito as my temporary blanket. I lay na in whatever you called this karton.

"Can't believe I have to share a night with you"-I break the silent between us.

"Okay, act like you doesn't want this"

"I never plan this"

"Whatever you say"-napatayo ako ng makita kong may flashlight na hawak siya.

"Hey are you reading?"-I asked as I see him handling a book. "Or you doing your assignment in this situation."-I added.

"Yep. I have Sex Education homework. It says it's best if we act it out"-he said then give me a meaningful smirk.

"Gumagana na naman yung pagiging manyak mo Anderson. Ano ba kasi yang ginagawa mo?"-I ask him.

"This is a map book of the school. Nakasulat dito yung map ng basement ng library para makalabas tayo."-natahimik ako upang bigyan pa siya ng maraming oras.

After half hour he close the book and naupo sa tabi ko. "Useless din yun kasi nilolock din nung gate yung lalabasan natin. I think you're right, you would have to spend a night with me. How lucky you are?"-he still manage to tease me even he's voice tell me he's tired and needed a rest.

Naalala ko, kakatapos nga lang pala ng laro nila kaya talagang pagod tong mokong nato.

Di ako sumagot at hinayaan lang siya nung inihiga niya yung ulo niya sa lap ko. Okay, walang malisya to. Simula mag-start yung deal namin mas Naging komportable na ako kay Sean. Kahit parang walang naniniwala sa fake relationship namin. But I think, we started to build a good friendship, if he wants to let me be his friend.

"Tell me about yourself."-he said while his eyes closed.

"Nothing interesting in my life"-

"I know people like is boring so just tell me how the life of a boring people like you."-ouch. Kailangan ba talaga super direct to the point kung magsalita?

"Well, I'm only child. My bestfriend is Candy since kinder. I played tennis, I loved photography and arts. I'm interested in history, I hate maths and literature. I got myself enrolled in ballerina when I was four but dropout when I nearly broke my thighs. I also love baking and cooking. I can make any flavor of coffee. I'm not afraid in spider. I fascinated with super heroes."

"Tell me more about your baking skills"-nagulat ako sa tanong niya.

"Sa dami ng sinabi ko ang itatanong mo lang ay yung about sa baking skills ko? Well my mom love baking and I help her bake when I was a kid. That's why I know how to bake those cupcakes. I also used her own recipe but I want to create my own recipes someday"

"Can you bake more for me? Like 20 of those red velvet? I also like the Boston cream and the mocha. The cinnamon toast is perfectly match with a coffee. Your strawberry flavor have the best taste after all. And I'm craving for more in caramel apple cinnamon. Forget about the digits I tell you. I want all the flavor you made"-this is the first time someone complimented my cupcakes. I mean nakakarinig ako kay mommy lalo na kay daddy ng maraming compliments and kay Candy she just always blaming dahil sinisira ko daw yung diet niya. But the way Sean told me like I'm the best baker and my cupcakes was the best cupcakes in the world make my heart flattered.

I'm about to say thank you pero naramdaman ko ying pagbabago ng hininga niya. He's now sleeping. Maybe this day is very long for both of us. We need to take a rest.

"Goodnight Anderson"-I said as I closed my eyes.
