Hayden's POV:Walking out of the school, I grab my headphones out of my bag and place them in my ear and immediately start jamming to Thunder by Imagine Dragons.
The walk home was honestly really pretty. I took my time, trying to learn the area. There were trees everywhere, along with bikers and people going on runs. The environment here was honestly surreal.
Much different from Chicago.
Before I knew it, I was home, it never occured to me how close I actually lived. As I go to grab my keys out of my bag to unlock the door, I notice that it was already unlocked. That's weird. Both of my parents were ment to be at work and Ryan was supposed to be at pracrice. Opening the door slowly, I walk in. My heart rate increasing.
"Uggghhh come on man that was a cheep." Immediately, I sign in relief as I begin walking to the familiar sound of Ryan.
"Hey it's not my fault you're trash," Brayden counter argues.
"Hey guys," I exclaime setting my bag down on the table.
"Hey how was your-ugh Brayden stop cheating." A small laugh escapes my mouth as I watch my brother get destroyed by his best friend in Call of Duty.
Ryan pauses the game and gets up, walking to the kitchen, Brayden not far behind him.
"So how was you're first day?" Ryan asks clearly still annoyed.
I took this time to check out Brayden, who was shirtless his shorts riding low on his waist showing off his sculpted figure, damn.
"Fine, what can you guys tell me about Kaitlyn... I think that's her name."
"Other than that she is incredibly hot, I don't know why?" Ryan asks.
"Because durring gym this girl named Avery saw me playing and well, long story short I guess I have a tryout tomorrow after school. She mentioned something about how it's hard to impress Kaitlyn or something."
"Kaitlyn can be a bitch, and she has extremely high expectations." Brayden says grabbing a soda from the fridge.
"How do you know that," I questioned.
"Well Kaitlyn has had a crush on Brayden for a crazy long time, and convinces every teacher to partner her up with him. So lets just say he has seen plently of her." Ryan says with a small laugh.
"Oh."
"Yep... hey we're gonna head out for a bit, you good here on your own?"
"Yea, I'm probably going to hit the gym. Oh and aren't you two suppose to be at practice?"
"Got canceled, the fields are getting redone for the season. Anyways we're off, see ya later."
"Okay bye," I said then made my way upstairs and open my closet, throwing on a pair of black Nike shorts and a black sports bra. I quickly braided my hair and threw on some running shoes. Right before I was about to leave I grabbed my headphones then made my way downstairs.
By the time I had gotten downstairs, the boys were gone. I head into the kitchen, filling up a water bottle and then make my way out of the house. I began with a jog around the neighborhood. About 15-20 minutes later I finally got to a dead end. My phone had told me I had run two miles. On my run I passed by the neighborhood gym so I decided to turn back and run to the gym for a quick workout.
Once there I do a second round of stretches leading into my warm ups. I did 5 reps of 20 sit-ups, then did the same thing for push-ups. I did 5 reps of 10 leg-lifts. And did 50 burpees. Once finished I moved onto weights.
