Hayden's POV:I had left practice earlier that night in order to get things ready for the party. If there was one thing my dad was good at, it was throwing a party. And even though it was suppose to be for the team, I already knew practically the whole upperclassmen were going to be here tonight.
Walking into the door I immediately pull out my phone and begin to text Chloe and Avery to come by to help. There was no way I was going to be able to get everything done by myself.
TO: CHLOEEE & AVERYYY
ME: Can u come by to help me set up plzz
AVERYYY: ofc be over in a min I'll bring Chloe
ME: OMG thank youuu! I'm going 2 take a shower I'll leave the door unlocked feel free to let yourself in
AVERYYY:Ok
And with that I immediately rush upstairs to take a shower, blaring music.
Brayden's POV:
Practice was fucking tiring and because our first game is next week we're training harder and harder. And because it was Friday, it was the glorious kill practice, aka conditioning.
We were in the middle of sprints and latter drills when coach called me over.
"Yes coach?" To coach I was like his other son, I mean I practically lived at his house. I knew where everything was, heck I even had my own key.
"I need you to go back to my house and grab my playbook I can't believe I forgot it, I would ask Ryan but he looks like he's enjoying himself." He said motioning to Ryan who was yelling at the freshman as they ran their asses off, a few running toward the bush most likely throwing up.
"Sure no problem, still in the drawer?"
"Actually no, Hayden was looking over the playbooks giving me a hand with starting lineup so it's most likely in her room, the girl was probably up all night." He says with a small chuckle and I don't know why but I did too. "Typical Hayden," I say a smile creeping on my face.
"Yeah, anyways just ask her she's home setting up for tonight."
I nod my head and then began to jog over to my truck.
-------------------------------------------
About 5 minutes later I was parked in her driveway. I could hear music blaring and I already knew who it belonged too.
I ring the doorbell but there was no answer, most likely from the music. I went to my pocket about to pull out my spare key when I realized the door was already unlocked. I walk in and make my way upstairs.

Hayden's POV:
I heard my front door open so I turn the shower head off, and dry myself down as quickly as possible looking at my phone. They said they were going to be here 10 minutes ago, I wonder what was taking them so long.
"Gee guys what took you so long-" I say opening my bathroom door rushing to my drawers to pick out a bikini.
"We have so much to do, order the pizzas, get the drinks-" A deep voice clears it's throat, and I freeze. I'm starting to think that it's not Avery and Chloe that are behind me.
I quickly spun around to find Brayden staring at me wide-eyed, it was only then that I realized I was only wrapped in a small towel. He quickly looks away not daring to look in my direction. Like one look at me and he's going to turn to stone. He clears his voice once again before speaking.
"Um... your dad sent me to get the play book." He said still looking away.
"Oh um, it's on my desk." My face began to heat up.
He walks over to my desk adverting his gaze to the ground as I remained in the corner of my room.
"Heyyyyyyy girllll!" Avery yells as she walks in my room, Chloe not far behind causing both Brayden and I to jump.
"Woah, what's going on here?" Avery asked raising an eyebrow.
"Nothing!" We both exclaim at the same time.
"Alright well I should get this to your dad, I'll um see you later," He said practically running out of the room.
I watch him as he leaves, then turn my head to see both Chloe and Avery with their hands crossed, smirks on their faces, and eyebrows raised in question.
"Care to explain?" Chloe asks with a devilish grin.
"Nope, now come help me choose a suit."

Heyyyy people so this chapter is a little shorter than what I usually write. I still hope you enjoyed and let me know what you think is going to happen at the party!
