JACKSON POV

I finally arrive to the hospital after like two hours.

"Yes, there is a Paul Anthony. He is ICU so you can't see him right now," a nurse says.

"Okay okay, fine, do you know if he is like fine. Would he get better?" I ask.

"I really don't have much information. I can try to figure everything out,"

"Sure, thanks," I say.

I call Widow again but she doesn't answer. I call Jessica but she is half asleep.

"What?!" she whines.

I tell her what happened and she wakes up right away.

"Oh god! I am going now!"

She asks for directions and hangs up.

I text James and he tells me he is almost here. He also told me that his father is coming as well.

I sit on the waiting room for like twenty minutes. I wonder if he is okay, if he will remember everyone, and if he will be the same Paul.

Darn...

An hour later James comes with Mr. Lock and they seem so tired.

"Where are they keeping Paul?" Mr. Lock asks.

"He is ICU but I don't know his condition."

He goes and talks to the nurses and a doctor on the front desk. James pulls me to the side. "Does Widow know?"

I say no.

"I don't know how she is going to react. I don't want her to feel bad," James says.

"You think Paul had the accident because of Widow and me?" I ask.

James sighs, "I am not blaming anyone, but we all know the disorders that Paul has. He might have an explosion of anger and that's why he got into the accident."

"Okay, I got information about his condition," Mr. Lock says.

"Tell us!"

He puts his doctor face on, "He had a major car accident involving another car. Thankfully the driver only broke her hand but Paul didn't get lucky enough." He pauses then looks at me. "Jackson he put you as an emergency number, for what reason?"

I think about it, no! My heart stops beating.

I try to breathe, maybe I am assuming wrong.

"H-he said that I be the right person to," I breathe, "to call if he goes away."

Mr. Lock eyes get somewhat sad, "Son."

Mr. and Mrs. Anthony come running through the halls yelling like crazy for Paul.

"Paul! Where is my son?" Mrs. Anthony exclaims.

Mr. Lock gets her and tries to calm her down.

"Please! Madam! Calm down, you are scaring other patients," he says.

"I don't fucking care! I want my baby!" she yells. She pushes everyone and asks the front desk for Paul. The same nurse that assistant me answers, "Ma'am, please stop screaming. Your son is okay, he is ICU."

"Gwen, please control you-self," Mr. Anthony whispered in her ear embracing her from behind. She weeps quietly and hugs him.

I turn to the side and see little Emily crying quietly too.

I hug her and she hugs me back tight.

"It's okay, he will be fine." I say.

"No, he isn't," she whispers.
