Time has passed. Life goes on.

"Mommy?"

I open my eyes and see Jackson sleeping soundly next to me. I turn and see Destiny and our dog Peggy on the bed. Her big eyes are looking at me, "hungry."

"Oh my gosh, how did you get out of your bed?" I ask her.

I guess her little 2 year old brain doesn't get my question. I get her and she yells. "Ima eat you!" I start giving her kisses all over her face. She laughs and Peggy starts to bark.

"shut up!" Jackson yells. We quiet down and look at him. He sits and looks at us. "Really? it's like seven! I have my day off today."

Destiny hugs him, "love you."

Jackson smiles wide, "love you too baby." He kisses her head. "Morning Widow."

I kiss him, "Morning."

"Bark!" Peggy says morning too. I pet her and she is happy.

"Let me get breakfast going then," I say. I walk to the kitchen and begin to do pancakes. Soon Destiny and Jackson are in their pajamas waiting in the table for food. Both are just the same!

I give them the pancakes and we begin to eat.

I can't believe where I am today. Two years ago, I was still lost. Thankfully everything started to fix itself. Joe was found guilty, given 30 years in prison, but most of his time will be at a hospital.

We all graduated high school and attending college. I got adopted by the Guiterrez family and married to Jackson. It seems so fast, but to me was so slow and so unreal to believe good things were happening to me.

Now I am living with the man I love and my baby girl in our own home.

"Let's go to the park!" Jackson yells. It makes me jump, I get surprised.

"What?" I ask.

"Park!" Destiny giggles.

"Well, we need to get pretty," I stand and carry Destiny to her room. I shower her and dress her in a pink dress. We all get ready and go to the park.

I go with jeans and a loose top. Jackson puts on white pants with a red polo shirt.

"So," I say, "how are you parents?"

Jackson looks at Destiny playing with a boy in the swings. Peggy is siting next to them. "Good, they finally got divorced. My mom is happy and my dad has a girlfriend."

"Is she pretty?"

"Yeah, for a 50 year old," he chuckles.

I get his hand, "I can't believe you are mine."

Jackson looks at me with a wide smile. "I should be in disbelieve. I have a family now."

I kiss him, "I love you Jackson."

"I love you Widow," he smiles. We give our attention to Destiny. She is petting Peggy.

"I called James," I say. "he is getting married."

"What?" Jackson asks. "But what about his university? Doesn't he have like 4 more years to go."

"Well, yeah, but he isn't going to marry the girl right away," I say. "Her name is Penny."

"Cute."

"And what about Rachel? Is she coming to visit with her husband?" Jackson asks.

Rachel got married as well with Angel. They saw each other once again, talked and talked, kissed a bit, and Rachel knew he was the one for her. They got married 4 months after we did.
