Lauren stared at me like I just spoke a riddle, people started taking videos of what's going on right now. I'll definitely be screwed up later because of this decision of mine.

"Things get more interesting this day. Uncuff her. "

They take her cuffs off and push her towards me.

"Cloud what are you doing?!"

She hissed at me as she pulled her jacket closer.

"I'm saving your ass isn't it obvious?"

She let out a shaky breath and pulled my tie bringing my face closer towards her.

"By marrying me?! Can you just not transfer money in my account instead?"

I pinch the bridge of my nose as I sighed in frustration.

"If it's that easy to transfer an  account to someone who is now labeled as an outcast do you think I would put my name at risk in public just to marry you?"

That is the law, once someone is already labeled as an outcast you can't just transfer money to his or her account. The only way to bring a person who belongs to class C permanently to main land is by marrying the person. Once a person from class C marries a class A they'll automatically share each other's assets.

"Tik tok, my time is running I don't have all day to watch the both of you argue. So do you really want to get married?"

The General said impatiently as he look at his digital watch. I hold my breath and stared at Lauren.

"Yes"
"No"

We said in unison. I inhaled sharply and faced Lauren.

"Listen Lauren, I don't want to get married especially to you either ok? But you should understand that I'm doing this to keep the promise that has been passed down for generations from Casper. I am responsible of you and you can't be sent to Isola because the only ticket you got to travel back to the past would be forfeited."

I can see the color draining from her face because of nervousness. She started chewing her lower lip as she stared at me.

"Everything that happens and will happen in this time line will stay in this time. Casper won't know you married me and this is not cheating ok? You're not marrying me because you love me. We're doing this for a reason."

She inhaled deeply as she close her eyes and nod at me.

"Fine, let's do it."

We both turn towards the main land army and I nod my head at the General as a signal that the decision is final.

"Do you Cloud Madrigal take Lauren Lopez as your lawful wedded wife in sickness and in health, in happiness and in pain, till death do you part?"

I swallowed hard as I felt Lauren's grip at my sleeves tightened.

"I do."

I can't believe I'm fvcking doing this because of her irrational decision. The General nod his head with amusement as he turn to Lauren.

"Do you Lauren Lopez take Cloud Madrigal to be your lawful wedded husband  in sickness and in health, in happiness and in pain, till death do you part?"

I squeeze​ Lauren's hand to remind her that there's no turning back and we're just doing this for a show.

"I can't believe this is happening."
