I was startled by the sound of the thunder that I almost jerked on my bed.

"Hey, it's ok."

With my vision a little bit blurry I look at the person sitting just beside me while rubbing my head. For a moment I thought it was Casper but then I immediately shoved that feeling away knowing that it's impossible to happen.

"Cloud? What's the matter?"

I said with my voice a little bit hoarse. My lights are dimmed and I look at the digital clock on the wall, it's only 5 am in the morning.

"I heard you breathing heavily last night and when I came here to check you out you were shaking. You had a fever but it's good that it's slowly subsiding now."

I had a fever? I can't even remember. I immediately raised my right arm and Cloud's right, blue veins are visible which means I really am not feeling well. My vision shifted at Cloud, he looks so worried as he continuously rub my head. He had some wet towels on the side table and a container filled with water.

"Where did you learn that?"

I said as I look on the table. This method is old and people from this generation cling to drugs for healing. It's odd to see this method again. I'm sure I did this to him before when he had a fever but he was unconscious when I applied cold towel on his forehead.

"What are you saying? Everyone knows this method Lauren. I also learned this in school before."

I look at him with a blank expression on my face. 

"I thought you took up business courses?  Are they teaching how to apply cold compress too? "

He blinked his eyes twice before he let out a short chuckle.

"Did I say school? Nevermind, I'm just tired I guess.  Been up all night looking after you a thank you would be great to hear right now. "

He said before doing an eye roll which made me smile for a second.

"Goodness!  How could I not say the magic word?"

Hahaha!  I'm quite enjoying this new side of Cloud that I'm seeing. I cleared my throat before talking,  making every single word clear.

"Thank you so much Mr. Madrigal,  I am forever greatful. "

I saw a smile stretched on his face as he close his eyes while shaking his head.

"No no,  nothing's free Mrs. Madrigal. You should do something for me in return. "

I froze when I heard the word Mrs. Madrigal,  I pressed my lips together and take a deep breath before giving him an answer.

"W-what do you want me to do then? "

I tried so hard to sound natural but my voice betrayed me. Cloud showed me a playful smile showing his perfect set of white teeth.  I started holding my blanket tight as he moved his face closer to mine, almost an inch away! I can feel his breath on my cheek and it's too much for me!  I think I'm going to pass out any freaking minute!

"I want you to... "

He stopped at the middle of his statement before his gaze shifted from my eyes down to my lips.  Holy baked macaroni! What am I even supposed to do?!  Is he going to kiss me?

"make me a cup of coffee. "

He said ending it with another smile.
What... That's it?  He just wanted me to make a cup of coffee and he's doing this stuff right now?! I immediately push him away from me then he started laughing.
