It's been two days after the amusement park visit I and Lauren had and it has also been two days since the last time she spoke to me. I know that there's something wrong but I get so frustrated whenever I try to recall some series of events and try find out where did I go wrong.  Everything that night was perfect, and all of a sudden she started ignoring me.

I was busy with my thoughts in a hay wire when I saw her make her way downstairs.  She stopped midway when she saw me in the living room and it's fvcking obvious how she tried to ignore my presence.  She awkwardly turned her back from me and march towards her room.

I groaned in frustration as I run my fingers through my hair.

"Damn it!"

She should atleast tell me what's wrong!

Hours went by and heavy rain started to pour outside. The sound of silence was no longer comforting. I took a deep breath before pressing the intercom to speak.

"Could you please open the door I just want to talk with you for a moment. "

I was standing outside her room while waiting for a response but there was total silence. I had to knock on her door repeatedly and there she opened it with her gaze fixed on her feet.  What did I do that she can't even look me in the eye?

I had to take a deep breath to calm my racing pulse before speaking.

"Lauren, I know you're avoiding me."

I was watching her reaction intently but I can't even tell if she's angry,  upset, sad or annoyed.

"I'm sorry. "

She said almost like a whisper before she finally lifted her head and looked at me.

"What did I do? Could you please just tell me or explain  it to me. "

Her eyes began to well with tears before she looked away and turned her back at me. My mouth opened in disbelief when I saw her suitcase.  She started dragging it and I had to block her way to stop her.

"What's the meaning of this?  What's going on? "

I was so confused and utterly melancholic of what's going on that I started crying  like a child. I don't want her to leave me behind. I gently hold her hand and let her face me.

"Lauren, please tell me what's wrong. "

She, too, started crying as she shake her head avoiding my questions.  She pulled her hand away and went on with her suitcase.

I was hopelessly watching her walk away from me and waiting at the same time for her to stop and tell me that she's just kidding around. But she didn't.

Panic started to stir in me that it almost felt like I'm being deprived of air.

"Lauren... Lauren! "

It was a desperate call,  I know.  I chased her, and I kept on calling for her name. I was quick enough to grab her by the arm to stop her.  I was bitterly crying with my vision in a complete blur because of my tears and the pouring rain.
