CHAPTER 9: WHY DO I ALWAYS BUMP INTO CHIRON

Then we followed Chiron to the central park. Annabeth and I were just talking to each other. When Chiron stopped. And I bumped into him. And Annabeth laughed.

"So I'm guessing we're here?" I asked.

"Yes, yes we are." said Chiron.

"So where's our ride?" asked Annabeth.

Then I saw something flying, then it swooped down to an alley. And Chiron said "It's down there," he pointed to where I saw the thing fly over, "in that alley."

So while we were walking, Annabeth and I were talking about some of the students at our school. Our conversation was like this:

"So, Percy what else can you do?"

"Umm... I can talk to horses, and I also understand them."

"No way!"

"Yes way. So what about you, what else are you good at?"

"Hmm... I'm a good dagger fighter.?"

"Is dagger fighter even a word?"

"What I mean is I'm really good at using daggers."

"Oh. Well I'm really good with a sword."

"Really?"

"Yup."

"So what's your favorite song?"

"Umm... Actually I have a lot of favorite songs."

"Well give me your top one favorite song."

"Hmm... My most favorite song is-"

Before I could finish my sentence, I bumped into Chiron, again. Geez why do I always bump into Chiron? Then I realized were already at the alley. And I saw a......... PEGASUS!?!

"Is that a real pegasus?" I asked Chiron.

"Yes." He said. "Yes it is. It will be your ride."

"REALLY!" both Annabeth and I said in unison.

"Yes."

"But why is it only one?"

"Yeah."

"Because both of you will be riding together."

"But we don't know how to ride horses."

"Well I know how."

"Perfect. Now go and hurry up we don't want to waste time."

"But you haven't explain the quest."

"Here," Chiron gave me a piece of paper.

"What is this for?"

"It explains your quest."

"Okay bye then." I said awkwardly.

"Yeah goodbye, Chiron."

"Goodbye students. And good luck."

"Thanks." we said in unison.
