It had been a few months since Monroe and the hunters ran from Beacon Hills and everything was going swell.

Scott and Lydia was off to college, Malia was in France, Stiles in the FBI. Everyone had moved on with their happy lives.

However, Liam was different. The beta felt confused: like he needed to fulfil an unnecessary and unknown purpose. Him and the rest of the pack were in their senior year and everything seemed to going okay.

"We've defeated everything... why do I feel soo out of place?" the honey blonde kid whine, his head resting against the frame of his bed.

"Everyone's split apart. The whole pack is gone in different directions. You're gonna have to get used to it." his friend Mason said beside him, his eyes focusing on the game in front of them.

"Yeah I understand that but it feels like I'm missing something..."

"Or someone."

Liam shot a glare at his best friend, who shrugged his shoulders before going back to playing the game.

The beta's mood had suddenly changed from that statement. He felt guilt, something that he hadn't felt since the whole Theo and Scott situation. But that was who he was thinking about: Theo. The chimera had been haunting his mind for months on end, there wouldn't be a moment where he wasn't concerned about his whereabouts.

"Liam? Bro are you there?"

Snapping out of his thoughts, he turns his attention to his friend, who had a concerned look on his face. The human sighs, his hand placed on the blonde's shoulder, rubbing it slightly.

"It's not your fault."

"But it is! I could have done something." Liam snaps, jumping up with anger running through his blood.

"Calm down. I shouldn't have mentioned him. I'm sorry." he looks up to Mason and he gives a sympathetic smile.

After Mason had left, Liam was left sitting in his room again, laying on his bed with his blue eyes stuck on the ceiling. He focused on the small cracks on the plain, cream painted wall, thinking about how it reflected his mental state.

Suddenly he had a knock at his door, his step-dad opening it with something in his hand.

"Hey little man, something came for you today. No address, it just said your name."

Without a response, he leaves the letter on the end of his bed before leaving. The blonde could see a hint of red, which made the boy slightly smile as it was his favourite colour. He shifts himself towards it, grabbing it with his hands, the paper rubbing against his fingers.

Liam, it read. Nothing else, which concerned the boy because he had no idea who it could be from.
