Liam entered the clinic to be met with screams and clanging. He rushed to the room to see a raged Theo, being pushed back by a struggling Deaton. The chimera's eyes were black, Liam's heart shattering into pieces. He didn't look like the friendly, flirty brunette who he wanted to punch in the balls when they first met. He didn't look like the soft, fluffy boy who Liam fell in love with all those months ago. 

He looked like a monster, a predator impatiently waiting to catch its prey. He looked like the chimera, the killer he was put up to become had finally intoxicated every bloodstream in his bones and changed him. 

He can't lose him. Not now, not ever. 

"Why are you just standing there? I need you to hold him down!" Deaton called him, snapping Liam out of his thoughts.

Liam ran over to Theo's sides, his hands clutching onto his broad shoulders. He watched the light brunette's iris turn pitch black, mercury slipping through his lips.

"No Theo, no... I can't lose you."

"Liam, you need to trigger his memory. Tell him stories about you and him. You're his anchor; you could bring him back."

The beta nods, grabbing hold of Theo's hand. He intertwines their fingers, the chimera's hands being cold.

"Hey baby, look at me." black eyes look at the boy, scaring him.

"Remember when we first met, you helped us beat the crazy man with the talons. You look pretty cute that day, your hair all wet from the rain." he laughs but Theo remained the same.

Screams were coming from his lips and instantly, Liam grabs his arm, black veins flowing down the chimera's arm and up the beta's. He heard Deaton protesting, telling him to stop but he couldn't. He didn't care if the pain would kill or take away his power, he needed to save Theo. 

This was Theo fucking Raeken. The love of his life. The boy who was the only one to understand his anger, his frustration. The boy who had put his life at risk just to save his stupid arse. Theo meant the world to Liam and he couldn't lose him this easily.

"Liam, stop!" the blonde was thrown across the room.

Deaton helped him get up, the boy feeling the numbness fade as he healed. He couldn't hear any screaming, no banging or grunts. Everything was still and it made the blonde feel out of place. He searched for the chimera but found him passed out on the metal table. 

He dashed to his side, holding his hand. It was ice cold, he could feel them giving frostbize just from a slight touch. 

The werewolf gently pressed his two fingers at Theo's neck. 

There was no pulse. 

He pressed his ear against Theo's chest. 

There was no heartbeat.

"Theo?" his name barely slipped out of Liam's lips, his throat was dry. 

He couldn't lose him, not after everything they both went through. He said that he wouldn't die on him, he made that promise the last time they met before Theo left. He always though that they would die together, you know how Lupin and Tonks did in the Battle of Hogwarts. He remembers Theo forcing him to watch it as the beta claimed that he had never watched the end of the series. Mortified, Theo sat him down and they watched the two parts together. 

"You know, that's how I want to die."

"Thinking of death already, Raeken?" 

"Shut it. No, I want you to be with me, my last moments looking at your beautiful face. There's nothing I rather want." 

Liam knew that Theo's last moments of sight were looking at him. But this wasn't how this was supposed to end. 

"Please don't leave me." tears spill down his eyes like a waterfall as he continued to weep. 

Suddenly, he feel slight movement, rasp coughing filling his eyes. He looked up to see the light brunette looking up at him, ocean blue eyes reflecting in his. He's okay, Liam thought and instantly, he cupped Theo's face with his hands. They were trembling and his breathing was rapid but as soon as Theo grabbed them, they stopped. 

Liam was finally home. 

"Baby blue, what's wrong?" Theo's fingers wiped the unknown tears trickling down Liam's cheeks, the beta laughs as the touch of his fingers lingered. 

"You're here and you're okay." 

"You can't get rid of me that easily." 

A smile creeps onto both of the boys' lips as they pulled into a kiss. Theo's soft lips on Liam's was the most incredible feeling to the beta. He felt sparks, fire, butterflies and more in his stomach but it just gave him more passion to kiss him more. 

For months, the blonde felt out of place. He thought that there was something missing ever since the hunters had lost. He thought that it was Scott, the person who has been a father to him through his whole supernatural experience, leaving him to protect their town. He thought it was Hayden, missing his childhood friend after all these years. 

The boy felt incomplete: he didn't know why he felt this way though. But looking into sapphire blue eyes and pulling on strands of chestnut-coloured hair, he knew why. Theo had been missing from his life but every time he had come back, he filled a void in the blonde that he didn't even know he had. Theo was the thing missing.

And now... Liam has got him back. And he's never letting go ever again.

IT'S BEEN SOO LONG SINCE I UPDATED AND I AM SOO SOO SORRY I'VE JUST HAD SOO MANY TESTS AND HAD TO CATCH UP ON SCHOOLWORK AND THIS WAS SUCH AN IMPORTANT CHAPTER AND I DIDN'T WANT TO DISAPPOINT YOU GUYS so sorry if it does :(

yeah so they're together again! you guys have been waiting for a long time for this and you deserve it because you all are soo cUTE AND YOU HAVE GOT THIS TO 3K READS LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL YOU GUYS!

I love you guys soo much, thank you for everything :)

also this might have to go onto slow-updates (mind you there's only 8 or so chapters left) because there's no way I can give you a good enough chapter everyday. i'll try to update at least once a week (any later, I am soo sorry!)

BUT I WATCHED TDC AND IT WAS SOO GOOD! I COULDN'T STOP CRYING FROM WHEN MINHO LEFT NEWT UNTIL AVA DIED (sorry if I've spolit it for some, yell at me if you want). IT WAS SOO FUCKING GOOD, WES BALL DID ME MOTHERFUCKING PROUD I'M LIKE A PROUD MOM RIGHT NOW BECAUSE HE TOOK SUCH AN INCREDIBLE BOOK AND MADE IT INTO AN AMAZING FILM UGH IT WAS SOO GOOD AND OM THE ENDING GOT ME SOO BAD I WAS HAVING A FULL ON METLDOWN WHEN THE CREDITS CAME UP BECAUSE I JUST BROKE

but yeah that's my rant as well as this long arse an over, but sorry and i love you guys a lot :)
