"What do we do? I've never seen him like this."

Liam had been curled in bed ever since the night he failed to find Theo. He was broken inside, he's never been this vulnerable before and he didn't want anyone to see him like this. After him struggling with the hunters, people had him at his lowest. Well, they had thought wrong as the blonde thought that he was in the depths of darkness. 

"You're his dad. Do something." he could hear his mother motivating his step-father outside before he saw Dr Geyer being pushed into his bedroom. 

"Dad, I'm fine. I'm just under the weather, that's all."

He felt a dip in the bed and pulled the covers a little down to see the man, his eyes tired and with a sympathetic smile on his lips. His fingers ran through the blonde's hair, ruffling with the strands, which makes both of them laugh. That's the first time Liam had smiled ever since he saw Theo. 

Theo... the thought of him suffering out there. By himself, it made tears stream down Liam's cheeks once again. The beta felt like he should have done something, he felt useless here when he could be out there, finding his love. But he knew that Theo needed the space. He holds a bundle of envelopes to his chest, the messages from Theo. 

God, he missed him soo much.  

"Buddy, I know you're going through something right now. But please... don't shut us out right now, we want to help you." 

"You can't. No one can." it came out barely a whisper but the doctor knew what he meant. 

Liam just needed time to heal. As a werewolf, you can heal and recover from any pain: a stabbing, a bullet filed with wolfsbane. But there was always one that will never heal instantly like the others.

And that was heartbreak.

sorry for the short filler guys, i don't have any pre-written chapters to publish because school's getting in the way (fuck you a-levels)

but i hope this is okay? i feel like its getting shitter at the minute and i'm sorry but hopefully the last couple of chapters to come will be satsifactory :) also, i love seeing your comments and votes, i don't deserve any of you
