"Hey, Liam." the brunette stepped into the room and instantly, the beta runs up to her and engulfs her into a hug.

Liam hadn't seen the girl in a while, she had moved away from his home when they were little because of her older sister, Valerie. They were the greatest of friends, Hayden was like a sister to him. The fact that she had come back put a genuine smile on his face: something he hadn't done in a while. He finally felt that he could deal with everything with her by his side.

"Hay! What are you doing here?"

They sit down on his bed, Liam finally happy. But his smile became a frown when he didn't see the same reaction in his friend's face. He grabs her hand but she backs away, her brown eyes pleading.

"What's wrong with you Liam?"

"What do you mean?"

"You're acting like everything okay when it's not. Look at you, you look ill! You're losing your friends, your pack."

"Yeah that's because this is all Theo's fault. He came back suddenly."

"You can't blame Theo for something he didn't do."

Liam snapped his head to face the girl, who was standing up with her hands on her waist. She looked really pissed and Liam realised that he was in the wrong.

"He cares about you, that's why he came back! Do you know where he was when we beat the Ghost Riders? He was sleeping in his car, Liam and what did you do? Nothing. You claimed that you loved him but you didn't even bother about what he went through. He saved your ass a lot of times, you should respect him."

"But if he cared about me, why did he leave? When I told him that I love him, why didn't he say it back?"

"You have no idea where he is right now, do you?"

The blonde never wondered where the chimera was. He just assumed that he moved out of Beacon Hills, trying to live a normal life without all the supernatural. But from the tone that Hayden asked, he knew something was wrong.

"What? Is he in trouble?"

"I've said too much, I'm sorry. I should go." she begins to rush out the door but Liam stops her by grabbing her arm.

"Hayden, tell me." he begins to wolf out, his amber eyes glowing.

"Just talk to Mason or Scott. They'll explain everything."

Liam nods, letting go. She leaves, her hand rubbing the forming bruise on her wrist. Liam felt guilty but was more concerned on what she said. Why does Mason and Scott have to do with Theo?

i think it was best to have hayden know about theo's condition (not that you know what his condition is yet ahaha) because i felt like she would be the one to knock some sense into li.
