Clutching the white paper in his hand, tears began to fall from the chimera's blue eyes as he holds the letter close to his chest.

"He loves me." he whispers to himself, a smile plastered on his lips.

He knew that now, it was finally time for him to reach out to his love. He could finally go to Liam and finally be with him again. But the thought scared him: was he ready? It had been a while since they had both seen each other. Was Theo enough for him?

Nevertheless, he got out of his bed and walked out of the institution, ignoring the calls from the nurse. He needed to be with Liam as quickly as he could.

Liam was pacing through his room, his hand running through the strands of his honey blonde hair. He was gonna do: he needed to ask Mason where Theo was. He couldn't deny it now, he needed the chimera. It had been too long for them to be apart and the beta couldn't stand the wait.

He frantically grabbed his phone from his bedside table and dialled his friend. But as he was about to press call, he heard a brief knock. Thanks to his supernatural hearing, he could also hear heavy breathing. The confused boy walked out of his room, down the stairs and up to the front door.

His hand came up to grab the doorknob but he paused. He could hear... whining? Like someone was injured.

He opened the door to find the person he thought he would never see again.

He looked the same as he did before. His light brown hair was styled into a perfect mess, his sky-blue eyes staring back and him. His lips were open ajar, them looking soo pink and soft which made Liam hungry to kiss them.

But something was different. He wasn't his snarky self, his smug grin wasn't plastered on. He looked... broken. His eyes were bloodshot, his tan skin now as pale as snow.

"Theo?" Liam calls but his response was the older boy falling in his arms, his blue eyes fading to black.

well, what a turn of events! at least they finally saw each other again, even if it was for a brief moment :/ but i promise it will work out soon, just give it a couple of chapters :)
