It was the next day and Liam still felt out of place. Getting that note from Theo had messed with him big time and he wasn't able to think straight.

All day, he was daydreaming. He couldn't get his mind off the fact that the chimera, who hadn't made any contact in a while, had suddenly come back into his life.

"Liam, you need to stop overthinking this." his best friend told him whilst they were eating lunch.

"Overthinking what? I'm not overthinking anything." he begins to panic, he hated this feeling inside of him.

"Well obviously you are, considering how crazy you're acting right now."

Corey looks around the boy and Liam follows, everyone staring at him in disgust. Liam grunts, before slamming his forehead against the table, his hands pulling on the strands of his blonde hair.

"I just don't understand why now? Why did he have to come now?"

"Why don't you ask him? I mean, he gave you his number after all." Nolan points out, his hand rubbing the beta's arm.

Liam faces up to him and smiles, his hand resting on his. He was glad that Nolan had come to his sense and joined the pack. He was a good guy after all, he was just manipulated by the hunters.

"But I don't have his number, remember? I tore it up!" the beta sighs in frustration.

"But you have his address."

As much as Liam hated to say this, but he needed to write back to Theo.
