Chapter Twenty-One

After that night we spent out in the sunset and stars, we finally came in and went to bed.

I went to one of the bedrooms and Austin went to the other one. It was a good thing Destiny didn't stay because there wasn't three bedrooms, only two.

I wake and go to the little kitchen. I grab the cereal box and a bowl. When I was in the frige I heard a shuffle of some feet and I turn around to see Austin only wearing shorts. I blink twice to make sure my morning eye vision wasn't fooling me. It wasn't. I quickly turn away when I feel my cheeks heat up. I grab the milk but Austin voice stops me from doing anything.

"No cereal," he says and drags his feet over to me. "I'll make breakfast, you go sit."

He says and waves me off.

I sit down at the kitchen table. Austin goes to the fridge and grabs some eggs and a bowl. He cracks the eggs open and puts them in the bowl. I watch him cook tbe eggs and flip it too. He set it on the plate in front of me.

"Breakfast, is served." Austin says and bows. I bite in to it.

"Not that bad," I say and eat the rest of it.

Austin cooks himself some food and eats it too. Once I'm done I put my dirty dishes in the dishwasher and he does too.

I walk to my bedroom and Austin followed me.

"What are you doing here?" I ask him.

He jumps and lands on the bed and he grabs the magize that is on the night stand. "Relaxing."

"I was going to get changed," I say.

"I'm not stopping you," he says.

I snort. "Yes you are."

He tosses the magize and gets up. "Fine."

Once he is out the door I walk over to the door and lock it. I change into my blue floral romper and BM's unicorn crop top from Aeropostale. I unlock the door and walk and see Austin on the deck the connects to the living room area. He hears me and turns around.

"Dressy?" he says raising an eye brow. "Not causal?"

"Destiny didn't leave me anything but this, my pajamas, and..." I trail off.

"And... what?"

"Nothing." I say and walk off of the deck. "This place is so beautiful."

"What about me?"

"Okay, I don't really need cockiness here." I say holding up my hand to stop him.

"Fine," he says following me. "If, you tell me what else Destiny packed for you."

"I'm not saying," I say.

"Then I'll go and look."

He sprints towards the lake house.

"Austin wait!"

I fall to the ground like a hurt my ankle.

"Ow," I fake cry.

He comes back down to me slowly.

"Are you okay?"

"Uh, let me think. No, I hurt my ankle."

He comes closer to me. My hands are wrapped around my ankle so he won't see that I'm faking.

"Let me see it," he says gently.

There goes my cover.

I get up and in the lake house and lock the doors.

"Ally!" Austin says running over to the doors.
