"Annie, you awake?" I felt someone shaking me awake. I flutter my eyes open to see Hayden hovering over me.
"Oh hey Hayden." I yawned. He giggled. "It's 4:00 in the afternoon! Get up!" He said pushing me off my bed. I fell on the floor and looked up at Hayden who was trying to keep in his laughter.
"Haha funny." I sarcastically rolled my eyes. He helped me up and I sat down on my bed. "You still sleep with a stuffed toy?" He asked, pointing to the teddy bear.
"No actually, it's My younger sisters. She gave it to me. I was missing her so I fell asleep with it." I said smiling at the bear.
"That's sweet." Hayden smiled. I smiled back at him. "So, my mom and dad went out for a date, my brothers are out and Emma left for the foster care system." Hayden said sitting down next to me.
"So we basically have the house to ourselves?" I asked. He nodded. "Well, your room could use decorating." Hayden giggled.
"It's not like I'm staying here forever." "I know, but still. It's plain white." Hayden said. "Do you have spare decor?" I asked. "We could go shopping." Hayden suggested.
I shrugged my shoulders. "Sure, why not." I smiled. Hayden's phone buzzed in his pocket. He checked it and rolled his eyes.
"What's wrong?" I asked. He showed me an article written about him. It was us at lunch earlier today. It was about how I'm Hayden's mystery girl. It was honestly annoying.
"It's like, I can't even go out and have fun without being criticized by the world!" Hayden ranted. He dramatically fell back on to his bed, covering his face with his hands.
"So... no shopping?" I giggled. I could hear his laughter behind his hands. He removed his hands from his face and smiled. "I never said that."
-at the mall-
"This is cute!" I said, walking up to a pair of sheets. "Let's but it." Hayden said picking it up. We bought the sheets and some other stuff and decided to go grab some lunch.
We found a cute, small restaurant to eat at. Hayden opened the glass door for me. "Ladies first!" He smiled. "Oh? Are you taking about yourself?" I said, trying to hold back a giggle.
"How dare you! I'll have you know I'm a male." He laughed. We both laughed until we were in tears. I walked in and so did he.
Before we could even take two steps into the restaurant, a lady stopped us. "Welcome! Before you enter our restaurant, look up." She smirked.
I was confused but looked up. I saw a mistletoe. I blushed and looked at my hands. But those hands were soon in Haydens.
I looked up so our eyes met. Hayden Summerall was going to be my first kiss. And that too, under a mistletoe.
"S-Sorry, I can't do this." I stuttered. I rushed out the restaurant and ran outside. I sat down on a bench. I was scared.
It's not that I didn't want to kiss him, it's just, Im pretty sure his didn't want to kiss me. I think im falling for Hayden Summerall.
