chapter thirty two

annie's pov
"ready kids!" brec smiled getting in the bus. we all followed behind her."i love how you call us kids when you're only four years older then us." johnny said sitting down on the couch thing.

i sat down next to him. "don't be like that john. brec is technically our mom for the tour." i smiled. "exactly. thank you annie." brec smiled.

"i just realized." kenzie said coming into the picture. "we only have one bathroom... so let's please try to keep it clean." kenzie sighed, sitting on the other side of johnny.

we all nodded. a few minutes later, hayden, mr.jimmy and dylan came on the bus. "ready guys?" mr.jimmy smiled. we all nodded and cheered.

mr.jimmy was the driver of the bus. hayden looked uneasy for most of the ride, which was only thirty minutes. since everyone was busy with their own things, i decided to talk to him.

"hey." i said sitting down next to him. "oh, h-hey annie." he said, not meeting my gaze. "what's wrong? you look... under the weather." i said, placing my hand on his leg.

"yeah, um.. just tired." hayden said looking down. obviously he was lying, but i decided not to interrogate him.

i yawned and covered my mouth. "how much longer till we reach the destination mr.jimmy?" i yelled from the back of the bus. "a few more hours!" he shouted.

i sighed and rested my head on hayden's shoulder. he bent down to 'tie his shoes' so i lifted my head up. is he mad at me?

hayden's pov
i feel so bad about trying to ignore annie. i'm being blackmailed. it's honestly stupid. apparently ruby has pictures of my fake nudes. they aren't even mine but she can make everyone believe her.

her deal was to break annie's heart which i could never do. i told johnny about it and he's trying to help.

how does ruby know i'm not ignoring annie? honestly, i don't know. it's creepy how she knows everything.

i have a feeling someone's playing 'spy' for ruby but i don't know who it is.

annie's pov
-time skip to night-

we've been driving for a few hours and mr.jimmy parked for the night. "alright, some of us can freshen up in the gas station. all guys out, brec, annie and kenzie can have their privacy here." mr.jimmy said.

all the guys left. "guys, i need advice." i said. "spill." brec and kenzie said at the same time. "i feel like haydens ignoring me. as if he doesn't like me anymore." i sighed, trying not to cry.

"aww annie, come here." brec said pulling me into a hug. "maybe somethings on his mind. sometimes i feel like dylan doesn't care about me either. but, in the end we're they're worlds." brec said still hugging me.

kenzie's phone rang so she went outside. "maybe you're right. thanks brec." i smiled. i grabbed my duffel bag and walked into the bathroom.

hayden's pov
"dude, you were acting like a jerk." dylan sighed. "what? how?" i asked. "really hayden? you were ignoring annie. i noticed it." dylan said walking into the gas station bathroom.

i followed behind him. i decided not to say anything but just get ready for bed. i finished before dylan so i walked outside. as i was walking towards the bus,  i heard someone on the phone. i stoped and hide myself.

"yeah yeah. sure... i already know! ruby, i can't do this if you're going to call me up every minute of the day!" it was kenzie. she ended the call and walked back into the cabin.

why was she on the phone with ruby?

annie's pov
kenzie walked back in a laid down in her bed, without saying a word. i looked back at brec and she just shrugged her shoulders.

"you guys are changed right?" johnny said walking in, with his eyes over his hands. we all laughed. "yes john, you can take yours hands away." kenzie giggled.

johnny removed his hands and smiled proudly. i laughed. "oh, anns. can i talk to ya?" he asked. i nodded and we walked outside of the bus

"hey, i'm sorry that hayden was acting weird today. he'll come around." johnny smiled. "thanks john." i smiled and gave him a hug.

we walked back into the bus, everyone was back. i sat down away from hayden since he obviously needs space.

but, that didn't happen. he sat down right next to me, away from everyone else. "i'm so sorry annie. i've been acting so rude to you. you don't deserve it." hayden said, holding my hands.

i smiled. "it's fine." when it's really not. somethings up and i'm bound to find it.
