(Jamie POV)
I take a small sip of my cappuccino, sitting at a small table in Bill's Restaurant on Baker Street. Mari giggles a little as he rests his small legs in between mine.
"I almost don't want to drink it because I don't want to ruin the tiny little leaf," he sighs as he rests his cheek against the palm of his hand with his elbow on the table. His other hand gently rested on my knee.
"The foam will eventually fizz out and you'll be left with just the tea anyway," I inform him and he smiles. Taking a small sip before shyly meeting my eyes.
"How did you know I would take you back? Am I that predictable?" He asks and I put the mug down, letting out a slight sigh of relief to have him back. I realized just how much I missed his softest touches and the way his bright green eyes lovingly stare into mine. With a gentle clatter, my cup touches the saucer and I can't help but smirk.
"You never took the ring off,"
I tell him my secret and he pulls his hand away from his chin, staring at his left hand with a slight blush.
"Ah, I guess you're right," he giggles and I wanted nothing more than to hold his pouted cheeks in my hands and kiss him because he was just so cute. I take another sip of coffee, and he eyes me.
