Memory forgotten

The next morning, we pack up and loaded up the car. We head to Luke's for lunch and to say goodbye but as soon as we walked in we heard

"Upstairs, all of you. I'll bring you your orders." Luke says. We all say thanks and head upstairs unsure as to why we are eating up here. Ten minutes later Luke and Lane arrive with our food.

"Why did you want us up here?" I ask him as they set the food down for us.

"I didn't want you to have to deal with Dean or your mother" Luke says softly. I get up and hug him and give him a kiss on the cheek.

"Thanks Luke" I say as I sit back down to eat. We all eat and when we're finished we head back downstairs to leave and Luke hands me a bag which quickly I open it an take a look inside. I get all teary eyed and thank him and we walk out to the car.

"Love what's in the bag?" Finn asks

"Luke sent me home with his coffee blend and a lot of it" I tell him happily. They all smile at me knowing that Luke cared for me as a daughter and hates what has been done to her. Soon enough we pull up to the house and the guys unload the car while the we girls head to the kitchen.

"I think I'm going to make roast beef, baked potatoes, green beans and biscuits for main and then for dessert creme brûlée" I say as I start to pull out all the fixings.

"That's sound yummy" Steph says

"Delicious" Honor replies

"Your more than welcome to stay for dinner you and Josh there will be more than enough food blame Sookie and Luke for that" I say with a smile on my face.

"Hey what about us?" Robert asks me with a pout

"Of course you can stay, you too Logan "I answer

"Thanks and thanks for giving me a second chance" Logan says to me as I continue to prepare everything. I just smile in response and nod my head. As I continue finding all the ingredients to make the feast I mentioned we hear the doorbell.

"I'll get it "Paris says and she walks away to answer the door an renters shortly after with our visitor following.

"Hey kiddo" dad says

"Hey Dad, Is that it?" I ask him gesturing to the box in his arms to which he just nods in reply. They all leave the kitchen to give us privacy.

"Sweetheart in this box is all the memories that you don't have. I know that what you read will cause you pain and that's why we didn't tell or show you. We hope you understand?" dad says to me.

"I do but I need to remember, and we need to get all of this information, so we can to protect me from her. Can I ask you something?" I ask him nervously

"Sure kiddo" he says

"Why weren't you around that often?" I ask him feeling my heart breaking just a little bit. Dad sighs while running a hand through his hair.

"It's simple your mom wouldn't let me be around and as time passed I realized something was wrong but no matter what we did and what evidence we had the judge would always favour with your mother. To this day we still don't know why and don't think we never tried to find out." Chris says and all I can do is nod in understanding.

"I want to tell you something before you see it. It's a memory that you should have but don't." dad says nervously

"What is it Dad?" I ask him raising and eyebrow

"We thought it was best to keep it a secret until you were ready to remember but before your mom ran away with you, everyone in that room used to have play dates with you up until you were five then all of a sudden you don't remember them. We don't know what it was that made you lose your memory of them but maybe you can figure it out. I love you kiddo, don't be upset." dad says to me as he opens the box and hands me a photo. I hug him and walk him to the door as I walk back to the living room tears start running down my cheeks. Finn runs straight to me.

"Love what's wrong?" Finn asks me as I continue into the living room.

"We were all friends until I was five" I say simply. They all yell "WHAT?!"

"Here look" I say and show them the picture of all of them together.

"Wow" Steph says

"Unbelievable "Logan and Honor say together

"How come we weren't told?" Tristan asks

"This is one of the things I don't remember. Your parents don't know why they were told to keep it a secret until I asked" I say sadly as I look at Finn and nod

" We're going upstairs to look at the box that Chris just brought over you guys look at these ones and see what more you can find" Finn says. They all nod in agreement as Finn goes to the kitchen to get the box and we head up to our room. As we enter the room Finn pulls me right into a hug and gives me a tender kiss.

" You alright love?" He asks me gently.

"I will be once I know what else I forgot" I say with determination. It was 2.30 now and we start going through the box and every so often Finn looks my way. I can tell he concerned because there's so much that I just don't remember. As I pick up a folder I open it and there's tons of pictures of all of me and a hospital report.

"Oh god I think I remember what happened" I say in shock as I read the report.                  

FLASHBACK to when I was five.         

I'm playing happily with all my friends. Finn is chasing me around the park and I can't stop laughing. Suddenly my mother yells" It's time to go" I pout and give all my friends hugs. We soon get back to the independence inn where we live in a shed. Mom has to work and I'm exploring the inn, I'm upstairs an all of a sudden there's a shadow over me and I turn around and it's my mom.

"You will no longer see those friends of yours anymore" she says in a no nonsense tone.

"Why?" I ask

"Because your too good for them and I'm not letting you see them ever again" She sneers.

"I will if I want to" I say and the next thing I know she pushes me and I fall down the stairs. I wake up in the hospital no clue how I got here. My heard hurts and my arms in a cast.

"Mommy what happened to me?" I ask.

END FLASHBACK.                       

"Love what happened? What do you remember?" Finn asks me as tears run down my cheeks he pulls me close and rubs my back gently.

"I remember what happened and how I forgot all of you." I say simply. I then recall the memory to him, so he can understand what I'm feeling. After I tell him I can see the hurt, pain and anger he has for what she has done to me. We stay cuddled together for a while.

" Babe I'm gonna go start dinner I need to do something" I say and give him a quick kiss.

"Do you want me tell the others what happened while you cook?" Finn asks me while he cups my cheek

"Thanks finny, that would be great. I love you" I respond to him affectionally.

"I love you also my love" Finn states giving me a passionate kiss. We head downstairs and go our separate ways. Finn walks  into the living room and they can all tell something is wrong.

"Finn are you alright man?" Tristan asks him

"No, I'm not" he says simply

"What happened?" Colin asks him as he turns to face them. He sighs and runs a hand over his face.

"Love remembers how she was hurt and why she couldn't remember us" Finn states to them. He's so angry that this was done to her. The pain that she went through losing her memory of people she loved and cared about. How will the group take the news of what Lorelei did to prevent Rory from seeing them again. Will the horror of Lorelei's actions come back to haunt Rory or Lorelei herself? Only time will tell. Now I must tell how she lost her memory. Finn starts "She was hurt badly......................
