There are a few things that you need to know. First I have been dating your mom since I was 15. When I became of age we secretly married. Yes, I know I married Lindsay but it was only to cover up the marriage to your mom. I truly did love you, that's why I started to date you. First your mom was upset, but she knew we could use you as a cover for us to hide our relationship. Next I blame myself for hurting you, I became obsessed, controlling and abusive. I saw you as mine and didn't want you to be with anyone else. Also most of this stuff was your mom's idea, including us kidnapping you. She said they were controlling you and we had to save you. I thought what I was doing was right my partner and supposed friend shot me. Last there are some files I hid in your room. I found them recently after the restraining order. I asked your mom about it and I'm sorry to tell you this but you won't remember what happened according to Lorelei. When I get out I will try and be with you again.

I can't believe what I just read, he hid files in my room. I immediately bolt up and run out the door towards the crap shack. I run through the door and straight to my room. I didn't realize someone had followed me.

"Mare, what's going on?" Tris asks concerned.

"Tristan the letter Dean gave me he said there were files he hid in my room, so help me look" I say. We spent the next hour looking. I go to my armoire and open it up I feel around on top nothing. I go to the bottom and feel its loose. I lift it up and grab what's hidden underneath.

"That's a lot of files Mare" Tris says. I sit on my bed and Tris sits next to me and pulls me close. I open a file and am shocked to what I see.

"Mare?" Tris asks worriedly and I just cry reading the reports.

"Tris it's an assault Dean did on me. Your dad had to file a missing persons report." I say

"What?When?" Tris asks shocked that I had been missing. I grab the files and we make it back to the house. I go straight to my office with Luke and Marcus. I sit down and they look at me worriedly.

"Princess what's wrong?" Marcus asks concerned.

"I read the letter Dean left me." I say.

"What did it say Ror?" Luke asks concerned.

"He told me things, things I did not know and some quite shocking information." I say.

"Like what?" Marcus says.

"Like files and hospital reports." I say with tears falling down my eyes.

"What did they say?" They ask.

"I looked at one with Tristan with me, it was from this summer. A month and a half before school started, you filed a missing persons report on me." I say to Marcus.

"I know sweetheart, we hired PI's to look for you and when we did locate you. You were in the hospital already for two weeks." Marcus says.

"Do we know exactly what happened and who I was with?" I ask.

"Yes we do, the reports will tell you that there was no rape. There was abuse and torture. DNA was found under your nails. They couldn't find a match because it wasn't in the system." Marcus says.

"I'm going to call detective Michael's and have him run it against Dean and his buddy. See if it matches, I need to know." I say.

"Ask him for the police report and files, photos all of it and we can know exactly what happened to you." Marcus says as I nod and get up. I go to the back yard and call the detective. I inform him of what I know and he says he'll be over with a copy of the file for me. I have to tell the gang I just wish I remember what happened. Maybe I will, when looking at the police report.
