Rorys POV

I get off the phone with detective Williams. I'm shocked at what he told me. I had to sit down. I put my head in my hands to process what he told me.

"Love what happened?" Finn asked concerned. Rubbing his hand up and down my back to comfort me.

"It was about Lorelei." I say still in shock.

"Did she escape?" Colin asked concerned.

"Did she take a deal?" Marcus asked angrily. He thought she didn't deserve a deal after what she put his daughter through.

"What happened sweet girl?" Elias asked looking concerned of what had transpired.

"I don't have to testify against her anymore only for Sherri." I say still shocked.

"She escaped." Logan says furiously standing up from the couch. .

"Damn it." Tristan exclaims as he starts to pace back and forth.

"Not again." Mitchum booms angrily his balls fosted in anger.

"How could this happen again?" Emily asked distraught with tears.

"No she didn't escape." I say and take a deep breath to tell them what I've been told.

"What happened then?" Grandpa strobe asked concerned.

"She was killed in prison." I say.

"Holy shit." Robert exclaims in shock.

"What happened?" Shira asked.

"Apparently she's got into several fights with other inmates. They heard what she was charged with and apparently they didn't like what they heard. She became a target. Before she could go and put her into solitary confinement she was stabbed." I say.

"She was shanked." Paris says bluntly.

We all look at her.

"What it's a prison term." She says matter of fact.

Got to love Paris she knows lingo for all things.

"Wow." Everyone exclaims in shock.

No one could believe what has happened but at least now she wouldn't escape. In a few days the trial will start and I can finally put this all behind me.

After all these years it'll finally be over and I couldn't wait.

"Detective Williams also told me that David black took the deal." I say hesitantly.

"He doesn't deserve a deal." Marcus bellows angrily.

"I can't believe this." Richard puffs in anger.

"What kind of deal?" Colin asked calmly.

"He will spend the rest of his life on death row. That he won't get the death penalty. He has agreed to testify as you know." I say.

"Good he's not getting off easily." Eli says.

"He can live the rest of his life thinking of all the wrong he's done." Jess says venomously.

"Oh he will. Plus he's even admitted to murder." I say.

"What?" Tristan exclaims shocked.

"Who did he murder?" Logan asked shocked and curiously.

I look around the room and see everyone shocked.

"We'll the first one........." I start to say but was cut off.

"He's killed more than one person." Steph exclaims in utter shock.

"Yup." I say nodding my head in the affirmative.

"Who?" Everyone asked.

"Deans uncle the detective that let Dean get away and what he did to me. Also Daniel berry." I say.

"Wait a minute." Dad says putting the pieces together.

"He's the one that died and he gave you the files." He says.

"Yup. Apparently Lorelei had no clue he had her records or anything. According to what he said to the detective he wasn't useful anymore so they had to go." I say with a shake of my head.

"This is unbelievable." Finnegan says In shocked horror of what he's heard.

We talked for a little more and I went to the kitchen to cook. The other joined so they can help and continue to chat.

The trial was finally here and I couldn't wait.  We all sat in the pews waiting for the judge to come in. Soon the door opened the judge came out.

"You all may be seated." He says and we all sat. I was first called to the witness stand.

"Mrs Morgan how did you find out what Sherri the defendant has done?" The lawyer asked.

"I slowly got memories  of what she did. I also had a PI look into her. Not only that the woman who carried me kept detailed records and recordings of what she and everyone has done." I say.

"Can you tell me what happened when you were kidnapped?" He asked.

I told him about the abuse they did. How they wouldn't give me food or water. Only Lindsay did. How she blamed me for losing her money.

"We will take a lunch break and be back in two hours." The judge says and bangs his gavel.

I got up to leave the witness stand and hear a commotion next thing I know I feel a hot searing pain and the last thing I hear before I black out is.

"Rory." Finn says in agony.
