We're off to the hollow again. We have already stopped off at the grocery store to get everything I need to make the dinner that night for everyone. Thank god the house that Tristan's parents bought him is the old Twickum house. They had to have it renovated big time and surprisingly Taylor didn't have a fit about it. He knew we just wanted to update it but essentially keep it the same. The guys are bringing all our bags into the house and us girls are bringing in the groceries.

"Hey Ror" Steph says hesitantly

"Yeah Steph" I reply uncertainly

"You should go into the house we can all handle this" Steph says

"Why?" I ask a little confused

"Bag boy is watching that's why" Paris says in her don't mess with me voice. I stomp towards the house like a child and I can hear the guys asking "what's wrong?".

Then I hear very loudly "Your breaking the restraining order". I make my way to the kitchen and I get started on the creme brûlée and the vanilla ice cream as they take the longest to make. As I'm getting grocers out of the bags and all the pots and pans out Tristan and Finn ask if they can help.

" Sure guys" I answer.

"Tris can you measure the ingredients for the ice cream and Finn can you do the same for the creme brûlée, when that's done I'll mix it" I say. As they are measuring out their ingredients on their own side of the counter as to not to mix them up I set about boiling the pasta and seasoning the pot roast and prepping the green beans.

"Luv is there anything else we can do to help?" Finn ask me sweetly

"Yes " I say handing him a handwritten recipe

" I need these ingredients measured out" I tell him as I go about mixing ingredients the guys measured out for the desserts. The three of us continue cooking but it's mainly me because I want it to taste the way I make it.

"Guys can you ask the others to set the table up and move the spare tables in there also" I ask as I continue to move about the kitchen.

"Sure " they both reply. An hour later and the desserts are done and one is chilling in fridge while the other is in freezer.

" What else needs to be done" Tristan asks

"Strain the macaroni and put it in a bowl on the counter for me" I say and Tristan goes about his job. The pot roast is in the oven already and needs more time to cook.

"What's next Love?" Finn asks me

"Well the pot roast in the oven, the desserts are in the freezer and fridge, green beans are prepped and in fridge for when I'm ready and I just need to make the macaroni and cheese and you both can help my shape the biscuits." I rant. We go about doing the final touches. Thirty minutes later and people start arriving

" Hi, everybody" I say to them and give them all hugs and kisses

" How are you sweet girl?" Francine asks me

" I'm great" I say happily. We all chat for a few more minutes.

" I need to check on dinner" I say. Mitchum pulls me aside and says that he didn't tell them I was cooking as he wanted them to know after desert as a surprise. I walk into the kitchen and put the final touches to dinner. The first course is the salad.

"This dressing is amazing" Strobe says

"I know it's very tasty" Eli says. We try not to laugh and Mitchum has a smug look on his face.

" For the main course we have pot roast, macaroni and cheese, green beans and fresh biscuits" I say happily
"That all sounds delicious dear " Shira says. Throughout dinner all you can hear is "Delicious, amazing and I need the name of your chef" as dinner nears its end I stand up and tell them what is for dessert

" For desert we have creme brûlée and homemade ice cream with chocolate chips in them but before we eat dessert I have an announcement to make "I say happily smiling widely. Finn comes an stands next to me

"Last Saturday I proposed to Rory " Finn says happily

"And I said yes" I yell happily. All the adults get up hug us and congratulate us.

"So when do you plan on getting married?" Amelia asks us

" I see you gave her the family ring" Finnegan says

"We want to marry this summer." I says smiling while looking at Finn.

" That's great" Strobe says

" I want to ask the men in this room a question though" I ask nervously

"What is it?" they all ask

"Well as my dad and Luke will me walking me down the aisle I want to do something special for Mitchum, grandpa Eli, grandpa Strobe, grandpa Richard, grandpa Janlan, Marcus, Finnegan and Andrew." I rant

"What is it sweetheart?" Janlan asks me

"You have all acted like fathers and grandfathers to me, so I want to pick out a few songs that are especially for each of you and have a father/daughter or grandfather/granddaughter dance." I rant. All the men love the idea and felt honoured. We finished desert and went into the living room for drinks.

"So Rory who was the chef that made the food tonight, it was absolutely scrumptious " Shira exclaims

"Most certainty talented" Francine says

"Sookie did you make it?" Emily asks

"No, I didn't "Sookie replies. All the men nodded in agreement except Mitchum

"You didn't like it?" Shira asks

"No, I found it very enjoyable she's an amazing cook" Mitchum replies giddily

"Then what is it boy?" Eli asks firmly

"I know the chef and so do all of you" Mitchum replies smugly. They all yelled at him "We do? Who?" We all start to giggle a little.

"The person who cooked and made dessert's name is Lorelei 'Rory' Leigh Gilmore-Hayden." He says to them all and they all gasped.

"You made it?" Asked a shocked Shira

"How?" Emily asks

"Amazing" Richard says

"Unbelievable" Francine says

"Talented" Strobe says

"It was an outstanding meal dear" Nathalie says.

"Thanks I spoil these guys here all the time with my cooking thanks to Luke and Sookie who taught me how." I say smiling sweetly at them. Soon after we all bid them goodnight and they drove back to Hartford. Tomorrow is a special town meeting we're I'll announce my engagement. Mia came back just to support me. Luke, April, Lane, Mrs. Kim, Jackson, Sookie and Michele will all be there to support me along with all my family in this house. I am so blessed and thankful for all that they are and how they will always be there for each other.
