Saved my life

Finnegan's pov

I watched as we all broke down. Even me. This can't be happening. Not to Rory. I march over to the nurses station. "Where is my daughter in law Rory Morgan?" I asked choked up.

"Sir she's in surgery." She says.

"Was she the code blue?" I asked fearful.

"I don't know but I can call up and find out." She says nicely.

"Please do see means the world to all of us." I say and make my way to the others.

"Was it her da?" Finn asked scared.

"They don't know but she's finding out now." I say with tears.

A few minutes later a nurse walks up to us. "Sir is wasn't your daughter in law. The doctor will be down as soon as the surgery is over." She says and walks away.

"Thank god." We all exclaimed.

Several hours later the detective walked up to us. "I have news of the unknown female." He says.

Finn's POV.

"Who is she?" I asked curiously.

"It was Lindsay Lister." He says.

"What do you mean was?" My father asked.

"I need to talk to Rory before I say anything more. She gave me something to my detective to give to her. Know this though. Lindsay risked her life to save Rory and her unborn baby." He says.

"Really?" I asked shocked.

All he did was nod. We were all stunned speechless. We didn't know what to think at this point.

"Also Lorelei and sherry is in police custody. I'll let you know the court date." He says and walks away.

An hour later the doctor came over to us. "Family of Rory Morgan?" He asked.

"Yes." I said.

"She was shot in the shoulder and a mild concussion. We removed the bullet and she has a bump on her head. She will make a full recovery." He says.

"The baby?" My mum asked.

"They are fine." The doctor said with a smile.

"They?" We all exclaimed.

"We were told there was only one." I said shocked.

"Damn another surprise." Tristan says snickering.

"I'll let your wife tell you. A nurse will be here soon to escort you to her room." The doctor says smiling and walks away.

Thirty minutes later a nurse was escorting ya up to Rory's room. The moment the door opened I bolted to Rory's side.

She was asleep. I put my hand on her belly and cried. Thanking god my wife and apparently my babies are safe and fine.

Rory's POV.

I woke up to someone crying and I knew who it was. It was my Finny.

"Finn." I say softly opening my eyes.

"Oh baby." He says and gently hugs me.

"We're ok baby." I say soothing him.

"Baby I heard that the babies are fine. Did they tell you the sexes? How did they not notice this before?" Finn exclaims.

"Honey they hid behind the first baby. Second yes I know their sexes." I say with a smirk.

"Wait hold up. What do you mean by they were hiding behind the first baby?" Tristan asked in disbelief.

"Yeah we're having triplets." I say with a small laugh.

"No way!" Mitchum exclaimed.

"Yes I already have my two little angels. Now add two girls and another boy." I say smiling.

"I'm so happy baby. I can't wait to meet them." He says excitedly. Everyone congratulated us and were so happy.

My doctor walked in with a smile. "I see you told him about the other babies?" Dr Grey said with a smile.

"She sure did. Guess we'll always be surprised with a hidden baby or in this case two." Finn says laughing and everyone laughs with him.

"I just wanted to say your almost seven months. With what happened I want you on bedrest for the remainder of your pregnancy. I will let you graduate but take it easy." She says sternly and leaves.

I am already ahead of all my classes all I need to do it take my final exams. "I'll talk to your professors and see if you can take the test at home. I'm sure they'll agree after all you've been through." Grandpa Strobe says and I nod.

"what happened?" Logan asked.

"Lindsay saved me. She never wanted to hurt me. She never wanted me to get hurt only money. She said she didn't sign up for what they did to me and she wasn't going to let me get hurt." She says with tears.

Before we can say anything there's a knock on the door. "Rory I have something for you." The detective said handing me a envelope.

"She saved my life." I say sniffling.

"I know. She gave up her life for you. The bullet missed her and got your shoulder. When you blacked out she used her body to protect you. Her injuries were to severe to save her. I'm sorry." He says sadly.

"I know she did me wrong in the past. She was fixing her mistakes. She has no family left I want to take care of the burial. I want her to Rest In Peace." I say sadly.

"I agree. She may have hurt you mentally in the past. She saved you and we all will mourn her death." Eli says.

We all talked about what happened. They hated what happened to me but with Lindsay she may have hurt us. She gave her life so I can live and we were all grateful for that.
