Birthday and surprises

We're all headed out for my birthday. The party was at a hall that one of Finn's parents owned. It's was amazing that so many people were here to celebrate my birthday.

" Oh my god Luke, April how are you guys?" Rory says excitedly.
"  Hi Ror happy birthday" April says a smile on her face.

" Happy birthday, "Luke says.

Everyone  they both gave me hugs and a kiss on the cheek.
" Now will the birthday girl please come up here,"Strobe announces.
I walk up to the stage.

"All of the adults did a combined gift for you," Mitchum said happily.

" Amelia, Emily, Nathalie(Tristan's mom), Shira, and I are giving you a shopping trip," Francine said with joy in her voice."

"Now the men are going to pay for your trip to Scotland on spring break," Eli said

" You will be staying at the Hayden castle," Strobe says. 
"All your friends will be going with you to have fun," Marcus said.

" Oh my god. Thank you guys.  I love you," Rory says happily she gives them all kisses and hugs.

She walks off the stage when Finn holds his hand out to her.

"May I have this dance luv?" Finn asks.

"You may sir," Rory replies.
"These last three months have been amazing luv," Finn said while smiling.

"That it has, I love you with all my heart.  You're my soulmate," Rory said happily.

" You can already see yourself marrying me?" Finn asks hopefully.

"Yes you make me feel safe, loved, protected, and everything else. You Finn are it for me." Rory said with a huge smile on her face.

"I feel the same way love. Tonight I got us a suite, then tomorrow we'll fly to New York for a show and dinner," Finn says happily.

Rory goes to greet her guest and Finn goes to talk to Tristan and Colin.

"Hey guys," Finn says.

"Hey man," they both reply.

"Can I ask you something?" Finn asks nervously.

" Sure," Tristan says

"Ya, man," Colin said.

"Do you think it's too soon to propose to Rory?" Finn ask fear laced in his voice.

" I've known Rory for years and  I've never seen her this happy or content.  We've talked about it, so no I don't think it's to soon," Tristan says happily patting Finn on the back.

"You're perfect for each other.  I don't think it's too soon," Colin said smiling.

"Too soon for what?" Finnigan asks.

"Umm, well to ask Rory to marry me," Finn says stuttering a little.

Finnegan laughs a little, "My boy, it's not to soon I see how you two look at each other. You've been together over three months. You've known her since right before freshman year of college," Finnegan says.

"When you have the one you love you never let that go,"  Colin says.

As the guys talk,Rory, Paris, and Steph are talking,
"So you want to marry him?" Paris said bluntly.

"If he asked I would say yes," Rory said with a huge smile on her face.

Steph and Paris squeal as soon as those words are out of her mouth.

"Guys shhhh!" Rory exclaimed. Both girls calmed down. The rest of the night was amazing being with my family and my friends who have become my family and a wonderful man that I love and hope to marry one day. We went to bed around 3am. The next morning Finn and I made it to New York by 3pm. He told me to get ready we had reservations at 630. We went to a really nice Italian restaurant. Finn paid the bill and we went to Central Park. As we were walking we walked into an area with twinkle lights. It was so beautiful I look to my right and realized Finn had stopped walking. I turn around and he's on one knee.

"Rory Gilmore Hayden will you make me the happiest man in the world, raise a family, grow old, and live our adventures together.  Will you marry me?" Finn ask hopefully.

As Finn is on his knee my heart is racing and my hands are over my mouth.  I'm crying.,by the time he's done I scream.

"Yes, oh my god yess, Finny. "

Rory exclaims happily throwing her arms around his neck.
" Well you need this," Finn says.

I look down and it's a two carat ring with a small cluster of sapphires on it."

"Luv this is a family ring my parents gave it to me to give to you , the woman who holds my heart." Finn says

"It's beautiful, " I say tearing up .

"We're engaged. " Finn says happily.

" Yes we are. Do you want a long or short engagement?" Rory asks hesitatingly, " Short what about you?" Finn asks hopeful.

"Well we can marry this summer," Rory says smiling.

"That sound great luv," Finn says.

That night when they got back to their room,

Finn asks,"Luv, would you like a nightcap?"

"I would love one," Rory replies.

He has champagne for us an he pours us each a glass,

" To us," Finn says.

"To us," I repeat.

I put my glass down and kiss him passionately. He has one hand on my waist one hand behind my head. I slowly unbutton his shirt and let it fall from his shoulders. He moves to my zipper and slowly unzips it. It falls to the floor all I'm wearing is panties and heels. He picks me up and moves us to the bed. He starts at my mouth makes his way down my neck.
