It's been a little over a week since I saw the tape, Tristan, Finn and Colin told my family, their families and our friends what was on the tape. I've talked to Luke asking if he's ok, I feel bad for him as he really loved my mom and he didn't know she had this side to her. I didn't really know either, we've been trying to locate the social worker that coached me but it seems he has disappeared off the face of the earth. I'm pulled from my thoughts by the ringing of my phone. I look at the caller id and groan.

" Hello" I reply shortly

"Mini me" my mom says excitedly

"Hi mom" I said

"What are your plans for your birthday?" She asks me enthusiastically

"The group is doing something for my birthday but I don't know what it is they want to surprise me" I tell her

"No, they're not. You're coming home to celebrate it with me" she says firmly

"No, I'm not. I'm going to celebrate with them, they are my family also" I yell

"They are no family, they only care for what you can do for them not about you like I do" Lorelei ranted

"Oh yeah? You really care about me" Rory's says sarcastically and rolls her eyes

"That I do, now you're coming home for your birthday end of story" she demands

"I'm a grown woman not a child mother" I state firmly and I hang up on her. I can't believe the nerve of her. I walk to my favourite coffee shop and get a coffee to go.

"Hi, what can I get you?" The barista asks me

"Hi, can I get a large black coffee" I ask

"Mame?" they ask

"Rory" I say to them

"Ok, and here. Someone left this for you" the woman says. I look at her confused as she hands me my coffee. When I get home, I open the gift, I am in complete shock. It can't be.

"Ror you home?" I hear Colin call

"In here" I reply softly

"What's that?"  Colin asks pointing to the gift in my lap and I roll my eyes.

"A gift from someone in the past" I reply frustrated.

"What?" Colin asks looking perplexed. I sigh

"Dean gave this to me when we were 16 for my birthday. He left it for me at my favourite coffee shop and to make my day worse, before that my mother called demanding I go home to spend my birthday with her. She didn't like that I am going to spend it with you guys, my true family." I rant letting it all out.

"Whoa, calm down we need to do something that is fun and relaxing" Colin states with a glimmer in his eye.

" Like what?" I ask defeated

"Call the gang, go shopping for your birthday outfit something for a nice dinner and a night of fun" Colin says firmly. I just nod my head and we walk to the kitchen for coffee and he sends a mass text out to everyone. Within 20 minutes everyone's back at the house.

" Hey luv" Finn says making his way to me and wraps his arms around my waist and kisses me

" Hey girlie" Steph says. Robert and Logan both nod at me, Tristan comes to me and kisses my cheek

"Hey Mare" he says with a smile in place which I return.

"No way" Paris yells, everyone looks at her like she's crazy. I just roll my eyes while everyone else asks "What?". That's when Tristan sees what Paris is looking at.
