Chapter One

A/N: Okay, thanks for taking the time to read this! Phillip is eight, Theodosia is seven. I am slightly worried about writing such young characters, I don't want them to be sickeningly sweet or perfect angles. I shall try my hardest! For the rest of the Hamilton children I will just come up with ages, I am to lazy to Google that stuff. Enjoy mes amies! -Paisley

Hamilton household

Today is January twentieth 1791. "Mother! Mother! I wrote a new poem, can I read it to you and Pops?" Little Phillip Hamltion exclaimed as he dashed into the parlor. "Oh, I am sorry I didn't realize that you had company over. Hello Mrs. Burr." Phillip looked down at his shoes and his cheeks flushed pink with embarrassment. "I'll be leaving now." "You know Phillip, I would love for you to play the piano for us, could you do that?" Eliza Hamltion asked. "Oh, umm...sure." He started to play a melody, but forgot the rest. He altered the song. After he finished he stood up, gave the ladies a little bow and walked out of the room.

"Your son can play beautifully, Eliza." "Thank you very much Theodosia. Yet he always finds some way to change the melody." She laughed.

January21st 1791

"Theodosia, you have a letter." "Okay Aaron, I will be right there." Theodosia Sr. Walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. "It's from Mrs. Hamltion." Aaron told Theodosia. "Oh my, she would like us to come over for Phillip's birthday tomorrow. Theo, come down here please." Little Theodosia scampered down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Yes mom?" "Well Mrs. Hamilton invited us to come over tomorrow." "Do I get to come this time? Please!" "Yes, you can!"
