Days pass, weeks pass, months pass, years pass

Two years later

September 16th
Burr household

It had been two years since Phillip left for college and it had been one year since the two exchanged letters. Frankly, the pair hadn't seen or heard from each other since the last letter.

Now, at the age of 17, Theodosia was being courted by the one and only Joseph Alston. Of course, she was very against these actions, not returning the feelings Alston felt for the teen.

"Daddy, do I have to go?" Theo asked her father, hoping she could get out of going to the feast. "Yes, Theodosia, it's customary." Aaron replied.

The girl sighed, "Do I have to attend with Alston?" she asked again. Burr gave her daughter a stern look. "Yes."

A/N: Yeah, yeah, I know, I'm being a sucky author. Hey, but at least it's something. I do think I'm bringing this story to an end soon. I don't know how many chapters we have left. I already have an end planed out so, no turning back.

Question: What is the song you've been listening to a lot recently?
For me it's,
Am I Supposed to Apologize? - Maria Mena. It's at the top and it's  a truly amazing and unique song.

Someone cares. ♡
