Crushes and Conversions

Theo hesitated to open her mother's bedroom door. Her mother patted the spot next to her, telling her daughter to sit down. "What do you need, darling?" Theodosia asked Theo. "I got a letter from Pip today."she told her. "Okay," Theodosia said, nervous to were this was going. "It made me feel funny." Theo said quietly, not wanting her father to hear. Theodosia smiled, "A good funny or a bad funny?" "A good kind of funny. Why did I feel that way?" "Oh my goodness. Theodosia, could you please go get your father, then go wait in your room?" Theodosia told her daughter. "Ummm, okay."

Little Theodosia went down stairs and down a hall way to get to her father's study. She hesitantly knocked on the door and awaited a response.

On the other side of the door Aaron Burr was writing papers. ( A/N: IDK what people wrote back then. XD ) He heard a faint knock from outside the room. Burr set down his quill and slowly sood up, his muscles sore from lack of movement. He shuffled over to the door and opened it, revealing his daughter. "Hello, my dear Theodosia. What do you need?" Aaron asked Theo. "Mama would like to see you." she replied.

Theo ran upstairs, Aaron not far behind, although, they went into separate rooms. Theo, into her own and Aaron into the room he shares with his wife.

"Yes, my dear Theodosia? Are you alright?" Burr asked his wife, slight worry tinted his voice. "I'm fine, we need to talk about Theodosia." "Is she okay?" He asked, even more worried. "She received another letter from Phillip Hamilton, she said she felt weird while reading it." Theodosia Sr. said blankly. "What did the letter say? Was it a bad weird? Is she okay? Did it make her uncomfortable?-" He started to ramble on about how Phillip is a bad influence and other stuff. "Aaron! Calm down! She said it was a good funny." Aaron Burr could feel all the color drain from his face. Did his Theodosia have a crush on the Hamilton boy?

"Oh no," Burr said quietly.
