Bread,milk,and reunions
June 3rd
Hamilton household"Alexander! Get down here, Phillip will be home soon!" Eliza yelled upstairs to her husband, who was always writing non-stop. "I'll be there in a minute," Alexander yelled back. "Alexander!" she screamed upstairs, furious he wouldn't come down stairs for his own son. As soon as Hamilton heard his wife scream at him, he scampered down the staircase. "Finally" Elizabeth mumbled.
The Hamiltons waited for about fifteen minutes until they heard a carriage outside. "He's here!" Angie yelled
Phillip thanked the carriage driver, (Do those have names?) Maxwell and grabbed his luggage. He stepped out of the vehicle and breathed in the fresh air. "Phillip!" Eliza and Angelica happily screamed as they ran up to him. Alexander walking behind them, a wide smile on his face. "Angie!" Phillip yelled as his sister tackled him. "I missed you so darn much Pip! Never leave me again!" the young girl exclaimed. "Welcome home, Phillip!" Eliza laughed. "Welcome back, son." Alexander said, pride evident in his voice. "Hey Ma, hey Pops!" Phillip said as he walked over to his parents.
Burr household
"Mother, father, I'm going to the market." Theo told her parents after lunch. "Be back before dinner, I'm going to keep an eye on your mother." and with that Theo left.
Theodosia's condition has been worsening. She is extremely ill. Aaron is convinced that his wife will get bettter, though, the Theodosias know that she is going to die sooner or later.
Hamilton household
"Phillip, could you please go to the market and grab some bread and milk?" Eliza asked her son. "Yeah, sure." the boy said back to her mother.
Market
Theo was walking around trying to get her mind off her dying mother at home. She was walking towards her favorite fabric shop fo- Bump "Oh my goodness, Miss. I'm so so so so sorry, I wasn't paying attention." a boy about her age said. He offered her his hand to help her up. "It's fine," as he helped her up, Theo saw the most beautiful hazel eyes. Only one person had eyes that pretty, "Phillip?" Theo asked, hoping it was her dear friend. "Theo? Is that you?" he asked giving her a tight hug. "The one and only." she laughed, her voice muffled by his chest. Even though they have been writing each other, they haven't seen each other in about two years, given their fathers. She could tell he matured emotionally in the letters. He looked much different. He was verry tall, probably taller than his father, Alexander. His hair was long and still extremely curly. His eyes are so beautiful. Like green gold. Theo thought. His eyes. Oh, his eyes. "How have you been?" Phillip asked Theo, letting her out of his tight grasp. "Grand. My studies are going quite well. Father is fine, yet mother is still ill." Theodosia said, her voice dropping at the mention of her mother's sickness.
"Oh Theo," Phillip said synthetically. "I'm so sorry." He gave her another hug. He could feel his clothes start to get damp. He could hear her quiet sobs. "Shhh, it'll get better. I promise." Phillip said in a soothing tone.
"Thank you, Phillip." Theo said.
