i lost the first purple notebook i had, and i never got it back. okay, but how on earth did he know that this was my second one?
"did you happen toㅡ"
"nope."
my eyebrows furrowed at his answer and annoyed me even more. he just laughed at my reaction and pulled a chair next to me. i just glared at his every move.
"hey don't give me that look. you were the one who wasn't talking properly to me." he said as he sat down. glancing at the purple notebook once again.
"just give it back!"
"shhh"
my voice became a bit loud that people around me started to look and told me to be quiet. i stood up and bowed as an apology, while this bean sprout found it funny and just laughed his ass off as silent as possible.
"i know you have it. just give it back to me." i said as i squinted my eyes. but he just looked at me whilst resting his chin on his hand, with a soft smile.
"please?"
"oh for the sake of humanity! that damn notebook doesn't even have any value so just. give. it. back!ㅡ"
"excuse me kids, but can you take your quarrel outside? some students are trying to study here. thank you."
i immediately stood up and bowed to the librarian, "i'm sorry ma'am. i'll leave." but she just nodded and walked away with a sneer on her face.
"pft"
"don't start with me again. it's all your fault i'm getting kicked out." i said with no amusement on my face. he only chuckled and i began to pack up my stuff. it's getting late anyway, so i'm just gonna continue studying at my house. i stayed later than usual but i still didn't get anything done. how ironic.
while i was walking out in the hallway, i noticed how dark it was already. i sighed, even more when someone annoying suddenly started walking beside me. why is he still following me around? ugh, whatever.
"are you mad?"
"no."
"do you want to walk home together?"
"heckk no."
"do you want your notebook back?"
"i do."
"deal. i'll walk you home then."
"what?"
