as soon as the bus came to a stop, i ran towards the bookstore without a second thought and left the others behind.
i only had one thing in mind, and that is to see joohyun one more time.
it didn't take me too long to find her either. since she caught my attention the moment she screamed out loud.
i found joohyun; she was facing the other way around, and talking with seulgi. she was holding a book in her hand, and it was the same book we loved a lot.

i looked at her from behind the shelves, contemplating on whether i should approach her or not. but in the end, i stopped myself from calling out joohyun's name.

"you love him, but you don't want to be with him. that type of irony. don't you agree?"
i accidentally overheard what they were talking about. weirdly enough, i know that seulgi definitely noticed me from afar. it's as if she was saying it on purpose.
"kang seulgi!"
i saw how joohyun flinched at the familiar voice. seulgi turned her back, and there by the entrance was jimin, waving at herㅡalong with namjoon, wendy and yoongi.
joohyun must've been flustered. she must've realized that i was already here. she slowly backed off and turned around, that's how she unintentionally bumped into me.
"t-taehyung.." and based on her reaction, i could tell that she doesn't want to see me at all.
come to think of it, i was the only one who's been wanting to see her. i was the only one who felt happy whenever we were together.
those smiles of hers that changed into a grimace of pain. it's not like she's the same person i knew before.
then again, she's technically a different person.
the memories we once shared beforeㅡthe feelings..are all gone.
