"Valerie wake up, you don't want to be late for your first day" I heard my mom yell. I was a senior in highschool but during the summer my family moved to Virginia so now I will be attending a new school.

Valerie's *POV

I got up and got dressed and drove to school. When I got there I went to the office to get my schedule and then to class. There were jocks everywhere.

"Hey cutie" I heard someone say behind me. I turned around to see a boy with brown hair and brown eyes staring at me. "Hey, I'm talking to you!" he says. "Oh sorry I was lost in thought." I respond.

Suddenly a girl bumps into me knocking all my stuff out of my hands. "You should watch where you're going fat ass" the girl says. Her and the boy that was behind me laugh and walk away.

Matts *POV

That girl Valerie was hot. But she seems like too much of a good girl for my taste. "Hey man, we skipping today?" my friend Cody says. I knew Valerie would be in some of my classes because I saw her schedule so I said no.

"Hey Valerie, Right?" I asked her. "Um yeah, and you are?" she responded. "I'm matthew but call me matt. Look a couple of us friends are meeting up after school if you want to join us" I say. "Sure but I have to get to class I'll see you later" she says.

Valerie's *POV

It's been almost 3 months since i moved to the new school and I have so many friends.

*at school*

"Hey Valerie we need to talk" my two closet friends say. "Okay, but can it wait I'm hanging out with Matt and them in a little?" I respond. "Um no, look Matt and them are bad people, they steal and do drugs, don't get yourself in that it's bad. Matt knows how to win somebody over and make them think they're special and shit but he doesn't really care. He's the quarterback of the football team, he thinks he can get anyone. Please just stay away from him." they say.

I ignored them and walked away. I really liked Matt, they were probably just jealous.

"Hey babe" Matt said grabbing me from behind. "Hey, what are y'all doing?" I say. "Just having fun", they respond in unison. I could tell they were smoking as to what they were smoking I didn't know.

Matts *POV

"Don't go telling anyone about this you understand? If I get kicked off the football team it's your fault and everyone will hate you" I yelled at her. "Yeah, yeah, I won't tell" she responds.

Damn I wish this girl wouldn't be so shaded. I want her. Woah, woah do I actually like this girl.

I lean in and kiss Valerie. "I really like you" Valerie says in between breaths. "I know, that's why we can't be together, you'll get too attached and then get heartbroken but this ain't gonna be put all on me so you might as well stop liking me" I say.

What the fuck? I just kissed her why the hell did I say that oh well it's true. Gosh she's such a good kisser tho.
