Chapter 9:

Matts *POV

Valerie and Marlise came and picked me up from the police station. Valerie was crying but she didn't speak to me at all. I wasn't sure what to do.

*1 month later*

It's been a month since everything happened and I've went back to my old ways. I don't sleep with girls like I used to but I back to drinking and smoking and stealing.

I can't believe I let myself get this way again. I needed Valerie but she didn't want me anymore.

I haven't slept in about 2 weeks. I hate everything. I jut wish I could make this right. Even after a month in still in love with her.

Valerie's *POV

It's been a month and I'm still not getting any sleep. I see him on the streets and at school.

He's went back to those ways. I just want so bad to forgive him but I can't not again. I'm just so confused about all this.

I mean he did try and protect me from Cody. I knew he really loved me but did I really love him?

I wasn't really sure what love was at the moment. "Get up!" Marlise says coming in to my room. "Get a shower and get ready" she says now demanding.

"Why? Where are we going?" I say not wanting to get up. "Just get up it's a surprise and make yourself presentable!" she says walking out of my room.

I wonder what that was about I thought as I got in the shower. When I was done I got dressed and put on makeup so I didn't look so sleep deprived.

"Where are we going?" I say after we've been on the rode for 10 minutes. "We're here" she says pointing in front of her. I look up to see matts house.

Matts *POV

*knock knock* I went and answered the door and there stood Marlise and Valerie. "h-h-hi" I finally managed to say knowing I looked horrible.

"Hey, I think it's time you two talk cause y'all look terrible and I know sure as hell y'all both feel terrible" Marlise says pushing Valerie through the door.

"Uh ye-yeah" I stuttered. "Well talk" Marlise says sitting us both down I the couch like we're 2. "I know it wasn't your fault, I mean the whole ex kissing you. Marlise told me." Valerie says tugging at her shirt.

"I'm Um sorry" I say not knowing what to say. "It's okay I forgive you. Go get ready Marlise is taking us to lunch." Valerie says laughing.

I went upstairs and got ready and came back down. We got in the car and headed to the diner.

"That was so good" I said pushing the plate to the end of the table. "Yeah it was" Valerie said looking at the table.

Marlise had left us there and told us to walk and talk cause she had to get to work. So we did. We went and walked around to all the little stores. It was nice, just us too. Kinda like a date.

Valerie's *POV

I turned to see Matt looking at the ground kinda sad like. "What's wrong matt?" I say hoping it's not because I'm holding his hand. "Um well it's just I miss us. I miss being with you. Being able to tell you anything and everything" he says looking at me straight in the eyes.

"I love you Matt. and this time I'm not going anywhere. I know we are gonna have our ups and downs but I need you" I say hugging him. "I love and need you too" Matt says hugging me tightly.

I forgave him and it felt so good. I guess Marlise likes him now too. We walked around a couple more blocks then stopped and went into an alley way.

I put my arms around his shoulders ad he picked me up. I swung my legs around his waist and we began to kiss. He pushed me up onto the wall so he could hold my face.

"I-I love you" he says in between breathes. I loved him too but I was not letting go of his lips. he put his hands around my waist and took my shirt off. I took his off as he sat me on the ground.

A couple minutes later we were completely undressed. We were having sex in an alley. That's amazing.

Matts *POV

Once we got our clothes back on, we walked to her house. She was amazing and I was not gonna screw this up again.

SO SHE FORGAVE HIM. I THINK I SHOULD MAKE THIS STORY EVEN MORE INTENSE TO WHERE SHE DOENST FORGIVE HIM AND THEY GO THERE SEPARATE WAYS.
