Chapter 5:

Valerie's *POV

I saw Cody at the convenient store and asked him if he knew where Matt was. he just looked at me like I was an idiot.

"Hey, I asked a question" I say. "How the hell should I know? He told me he needed to go fix something" he responds looking angry. "I don't need your fucking attitude, I just asked a question" I snapped back.

Cody works my nerves I swear. I turn and walk away. I just wanted to know if Matt was better today. He could do so much better with picking his friends.

I decided to just go home and rest. I got home and went straight upstairs. My parents are on business trips for the next 2 months so the house is all mine.

I went upstairs and laid down. I was asleep for a good 2 hrs when I heard someone knock on the front door. I slowly walked to the door and opened it. It was Matt.

What was he doing here? I know I wanted to know if he was better but why'd he come here? I just stared at him for a few minutes then spoke.

Matts *POV

I went over to Valerie's house and knocked on the door. Id never met her parents so I was hoping they wouldn't come to the door. I backed up a little ways from the door and waited. When she finally opened the door she just stared at me.

I didn't know what to say so I just said hey. "Hey, wh-what are you doing here?" she says with a hurt and scared look on her face. "Look I came over here cause I wanted to make this right" I say hoping she wouldn't reject me. "Come in and have a seat and we'll talk in a minute I have to get something" she says as she runs up to her room.

Oh my gosh how was I gonna do this. I mean this would mean stop doing drugs, stop stealing, stop smoking, stop getting paid to get layed. I mean that's a lot but I have to make this right. I don't know what I'm gonna do.

"Hey" she's says walking down the stairs. "Hey" I said as I patted the seat next to me for her to sit down. She down and I started talking.

"I know what I did was wrong and to be honest my emotions for you are completely scattered, I don't know if I like you or if I don't, and I want to get a chance to find out. Will you please give me one last shot? I'll take you on a proper date and we will do proper things not to proper tho cause I ain't like that but please." I asked.

A/N SO I KNOW THIS CHAPTER IS KINDA SHORT BUT THATS BECAUSE IM BORED AND I WANTED TO UPDATE TWICE IN ONE DAY.

LOL IS IT BAD I JUST FOUND OUT HOW TO BOLD MY AUTHORS NOTES? HAHA
