Chapter 19:

Valerie's *POV

It's been about a month and a half since Matt had proposed and I only had about a week before the baby was due.

I was so excited, besides the fact that my mom is doing everything in her power to keep me from leaving the couch.

"Mom, please I can get my own food" I said to my mom who was insisting on cooking me lunch.

"Honey I can do it, you need to rest and..." "mom Im gonna do it, I think you need to rest" I said cutting her off.

I got up and fixed my lunch. "I'm gonna go out with some friends today" I said to my mom as I got ready.

"Okay. I'll see you later, please stay safe and if you go into labor.." "mom I know how to get to the hospital" I said laughing a little.

"Hey boo" Marlise said as I got into her car. "hey. so what are we doing today?"

"Baby shopping, duh!" she said all giddy. "ahah yay okay!" I said excitedly back.

We went shopping and got all kinda of stuff for the baby. Clothes, a crib, blankets, toys etc.

I was having a little girl and I could already tell Matt would be wrapped around her little finger.

*5 hours later*

I've been in labor for about 2 hours and man it hurts.

The doctor came in and sat near my feet and I could tell Matt was getting woosy.

The doctor grabbed a chair an made him sit down and them came back over to me.

"Now when I say push I want you to give it all you got okay?" he said to me. "okay!" I said in more of a scream.

I pushed about 3 times and then the baby finally came out.

"Wow that really hurt" I said to my mom who was now standing next to me. "yeah now you know how I felt" she said with a giggle"

*2 days later*

Matts *POV

Valerie was finally out of the hospital with little baby Katelyn Lee Espinosa.

We decided to name her katelyn after Kate. We figured kate would appreciate that. Plus it was cute.

I never thought I'd be here. Id never thought I'd fall in love again but I did and I'm glad I did.

Because she's perfect, the babies perfect and this, this is perfect.
