Chapter 12

Bihaan reached the hospital where Thapki was taken by Preeti and Ashwin. Thapki was resting after getting the required treatment. Ashwin told Bihaan to meet the doctor. Bihaan entered Doctor's room and introduced himself.

Doctor: "Oh so u r Thapki's husband"

Bihaan: "Yes doctor I am Thapki's husband but is sthg wrong with Thapki as u specifically wanted to meet me?"

Doctor: "Thapki was brought to me today as she had high fever and I gave her the treatment that she required but there is sthg else that needs to be discussed"

Bihaan: "Go ahead doctor I am listening"

Doctor: "When Thapki was telling me abt the symptoms of her illness, they all referred to her fever due to her bike ride in rain which is very normal and I have already given her the injection and the medicines... but she mentioned sthg more which she did not know much abt but as a doctor I know has nthg to do with this fever"

Bihaan (worriedly): "What is it Doctor???"

Doctor: "Since how long u and Thapki are married??"

Bihaan: "Just a week but y?"

Doctor: "Being a husband, did u not come to know abt it???"

Bihaan: "Know abt wat??? C Doctor... I and Thapki are husband and wife but we do not share such a relationship...if u know wat I mean?"

Doctor (shockingly): "If I u mean wat I understood then can u plz explain y?"

Bihaan: "Actually its just I and Thapki had a court marriage and that too not in normal circumstances and now we r getting remarried in a week's time so..."

Doctor: "Oh ok. In that case there is sthg that I need to tell before u take ur relationship to the next level"

Bihaan carefully started to listen to wat the doctor had to tell abt Thapki.

Thapki was resting in her bed when Suman entered with a bowl of soup for her. Little Pari was holding the palu of her sari and walking next to her.

Thapki (getting up in her bed): "Oh Suman Bhabi... I can not eat more. U r feeding me since my come back from hospital n I am already full"

Suman: "Arre u need strength as u r so sick. U r getting married in next few days and the haldi ceremony is day after tomorrow. U must be all fit and fine till then"

Suman helped Thapki in sitting in bed and placed the soup of bowl right in front of her.

Thapki: "I do not feel hungry. If I have this I will get sick"

Pari was standing close to bed, waiting for Thapki to pick her up. Thapki noticed her.

Thapki: "Pari beta I can not bring u closer or u will get sick too"

Thapki made a sad face.

Suman: "That is y I am saying na... eat this and get fine asap or else u will have to repeat the same dialog in front of Bihaan Devar ji on ur wedding night"

Thapki turned beet root red after hearing this.

Thapki: "Wat Bhabhi"

Suman: "I am telling the truth. I believe when u say that u two stayed in the same room but did not take ur relationship to the next level but after this proper wedding, u must be ready for it"
