Chapter 14

Thapki was standing in front of the window, looking at the moon. Many thoughts were running through her mind when some one knocked on the door and walked in. She turned back and saw Bihaan entering the room. He was wearing his night suit. As she was not expecting him at this late at night, so she stood there looking all confused. Bihaan walked into the room and stood in front of her.

Bihaan: "Why are u standing here...In fact y r u still up this late at night...U must lie down in bed and rest... Tomorrow is Mehndi function and u will get more sick if u don't take proper rest"

Thapki: "I am fine now and I was sleeping earlier so I am not sleepy right now"

Bihaan: "Gud to know that u r feeling better or else I was thinking about postponing our remarriage"

Thapki: "Postponing but y"

Bihaan: "Firstly u come here and sit down"

Bihaan made her sit on the bed and took the chair next to it.

Bihaan: "Coz u r sick"

Thapki: "I am not sick. I just fainted coz I had not eaten properly"

Bihaan wanted to add something but Thapki continued.

Thapki: "And this marriage is important to me...Since childhood I have waited for this day. Marriage with my dream man. My Mom told me abt my dream man since I was a kid. Telling me that I will have a life that I want when I get married. I had been dreaming abt this since then. Thinking abt the marriage..."

Thapki turned back and saw a horrified look on Bihan's face.

Thapki: "Wat happened Bihaan?"

Bihaan: "I realised that our marriage happened so suddenly that u did not get the chance to get wat u wanted...U had the right to know it all...I must have told u and then should have asked for ur approval..."

Some giggles interrupted the conversation. Thapki saw Kiran with a girl of her age entering the room.

Kiran: "Bihaan Bhai look who is here... Its Sheena"

Bihaan looked at Sheena and a pleasant smile appeared on his lips.

Bihaan: "Sheena u here and that too that suddenly"

Sheena: "U did not tell me abt ur marriage but that does not mean I would not have known... Dad told me and so I caught the first flight and came here. So who is the lucky girl who won ur heart"Before Bihaan could reply, Kiran interrupted.

Kiran: "Come on Sheena. Lets meet the family. They will be stunned to c u here"

Sheena: "Sure sure... Come Bihaan"

Sheena held Bihaan's hand and took him with her. It happened so suddenly that Thapki did not even get the chance to react properly.

Thapki was thinking abt her conversation with Bihaan. She realised that even yesterday night she could not tell Bihaan that how much she loved him. She also realised that Bihaan wants her approval for their marriage, so she decided to talk to him before marriage to clear his doubts. She was looking for him in the morning but Suman told her that Bihaan has gone out with Sheena as she wanted to shop for her dresses for the wedding. Thapki decided to wait. But wait became longer. She finally decided to write him a note explaining how much she loves him and this marriage is all she ever wanted.
