Chapter 28

Next morning Bihaan woke up by the Alarm Clock. He had to get ready for his office. Unlike normal days when Thapki used to wake up at the alarm, Thapki was still asleep. Bihaan recalled his hug with Thapki. He accepted to himself that it felt nice. After hug the two went to sleep but it now seemed that Thapki might have been awake till late. In order to not disturb Thapki, Bihaan quietly got up and went to washroom to get ready.

Suman inquired Bihaan abt Thapki. Bihaan told her that she was still asleep. Both knew that things were hard for Thapki so they both did not say much abt last night.

Suman ended her daily work in the kitchen and looked at the Clock. Thapki was still not up. She decided to finally check on her. She went towards her bedroom and knocked on the door. She heard Thapki's voice so she entered. Thapki was still in her bed. Suman worriedly walked towards her coz Thapki looked pale.

Suman: "Thapki r u alright. U look so pale"

Thapki (in pain): "Suman Bhabhi I have severe pain in my stomach area"

Suman: "Wat kinda pain?"

Thapki: "I feel this pain since few years now. It used to be not that severe but now the intensity is increasing"

Suman: "Have u told some one abt it?"

Thapki: "Only my mother knew. She took me to the doctor and I had some tests too"

Suman: "And..."

Thapki: "My mother got worried abt me after wat doctor told her. But she never told me anything"

Suman: "This is not gud. Let's go the doctor"

Thapki: "No its okay. I have taken the tablet. I will be fine now"

Suman: "But u can't take this lightly"

Thapki: "I am fine Bhabhi. I will be better. I promise"

Suman did not want to worry Thapki so she left the room without further discussion but she decided to talk to Bihaan abt Thapki's pain and condition.

After an hour, Thapki came downstairs. She was looking much better now. She saw Preeti sitting in the lounge having a bowl of fruits in her hand. Thapki walked towards her and sat next to her.

Preeti: "Arre Thapki where were u?"

Thapki: "Sorry Bhabhi I woke up late"

Preeti: "Its ok. Did u have ur breakfast?"

Suman: "No She hadn't so I brought this tea and sandwiches for her. And Preeti u too take some sandwiches. The more u eat, the healthy ur baby will be"

Suman put the tray on the table and joined the two. Thapki looked at Suman with thanking eyes.

Thapki: "Where is everyone?"

Suman: "Must be sleeping"

Thapki: "Suman Bhabhi, can I have a look at family pictures. I want to c how everyone looked years back"
