Chapter 55

Bau Ji looked at Vasu with concern. Vasu read the question in Bau Ji's eyes but she ignored. Bau ji took a deep breath and replied.

Bau Ji: "Wat I have today is of my children... I am not taking it any where with me"

Vasu: "U r taking me wrong. I just want u to transfer it in Dhruv's name and keep handling it the way u have been handling"

Bau Ji: "Y wd I transfer it all in Dhruv's name?? Do my other children not deserve anything?"

Vasu: "See that is y I am asking u for that. Dhruv is ur heir and only he must get wats urs"

Bau ji: "This is how u see things. I have not one but five heirs and I will distribute it amongst them. In fact I have already decided wat I want and I do not need to discuss it at the moment"

Vasu: "This is not fair and..."

Before Vasu could say more, Bau Ji interrupted.

Bau Ji: "At the moment I am busy with Kiran's wedding and I do not want to think abt the property and its distribution. Don't worry everyone will get wat everyone deserves. Now let me do my work and we will discuss it after Kiran's wedding"

He didn't want any more discussion so he ended the conversation like that. Vasu knew that he was trying to avoid the discussion so she decided to workout a plan. Little did they know that everything was going to change in the next few weeks.

Bihaan and Kabir had brought the ladies for shopping. Bihaan looked at Thapki who was standing next to Suman excitedly holding one dress after other to her body. After looking at few dresses Thapki searched for Bihaan. She found him standing alone in one corner. He noticed her looking at him so he slowly walked towards her. She showed him few dresses and asked for his approval. He looked at the dresses and told her to select watever she liked coz all of those were really pretty. Thapki picked few and went into the try room. Bihaan was standing with Suman and Sheena when Thapki came out of the dressing wearing a pretty blue lehnga. She excitedly started walking towards Bihaan. Bihaan had praise in his eyes for his lovely wife. Before Thapki could reach them, Kabir came out of the other try room wearing a blue kurta that was a perfect match with Thapki's dress. He also started walking behind Thapki. Thapki was unaware of Kabir's walking behind her so she kept walking with a smile. As soon as Bihaan noticed Kabir, the smile on his lips vanished. Sheena who was very closely monitoring Bihaan walked ahead and with a very sweet smile looked at Thapki and praised her beauty and choice.

Sheena: "Awww Thapki u r looking so pretty. Just like a princess and look at the prince here"

Thapki noticed her eyes move from her to Kabir. It was then that she realised that Kabir was wearing the same color as she was wearing. Sheena walked towards Kabir and hugged him.

Sheena: "Wow Kabir u r looking so handsome. But I m so jealous here. I asked u to select that green kurta but u selected the blue one just like that of Thapki. Its like u ppl have more understanding then wat we have"

Kabir: "Oh it is just a coincidence. We did not decide or anything"

Sheena: "Arre baba I m just joking. Of course u two r friends and its just that u have same choice. But that actually makes me jealous"

Sheena ended her sentence with a nervous laugh which made not only Thapki but Bihaan very very uncomfortable.

Kabir was sitting in the lawn chair talking on his phone. Thapki came out with two cups of tea in her hands. Kabir noticed Thapki coming towards her so he ended the call and welcomed her. She sat down next to him and handed him his cup of tea. He started sipping tea from his cup and waited for Thapki to say sthg but when she stayed quiet for some time he himself started the conversation. After realising that she was lost in her own thoughts, he asker her directly.
