Chapter 40

Everyone was having breakfast in the dining room when Vasu entered the room.

Vasu: "Suman bahu, u r still not done with ur breakfast?"

Suman: "I just had mine and now feeding Pari"

Vasu: "Thapki will feed her. U just go and check on Shradha. She must be up by now. Ask her wat she would like to have. She must rest and eat healthy food only"

Thapki got up from her place and took the cereal bowl from Suman and started feeding Pari while Suman left to obey Vasu's order.

The doctor had prescribed some tests for confirmation but she had almost confirmed that Shradha was pregnant which had turned Vasu mad with happiness.

Suman reached Shradha's room and was abt to knock on the door when she heard Shradha having an argument with Dhruv abt the baby. She was not at all happy abt having a baby this soon. Wat actually hurt her feelings was when she heard Dhruv giving abortion option to Shradha. Before she could hear more, she returned with a heavy heart.

Preeti knocked at Thahaan's bed room door and walked in. Thapki was almost ready.

Preeti: "Gud that u r ready. Now let's go"

Thapki: "Did u ask Vasu Maa?

Preeti: "Yes I have told her that we r leaving for shopping. She did make strange faces but then said yes"

Thapki: "And wat abt Suman Bhabhi?"

Preeti: "She can't go"

Thapki: "But she agreed to go"

Preeti: "Ya she did but that was last night and by then Vasu Maa had not gone crazy with the gud news. 

Now she has given so many tasks to her and she wants us not to cancel the plan and go. She says she will go with us some other day. Now u plz hurry up before Vasu Maa changes her mind and assign some stupid tasks to us as well"

Thapki smiled at Preeti's reply and picked her bag from the bed and the two left PN.

They had been busy in shopping for Preeti's baby when finally Preeti took Thapki to a lingerie shop. Thapki looked around and blushed badly as she had never seen a such open display of such clothing items.

Thapki: "Preeti Bhabi, wat r we doing here?"

Preeti: "We r here to shop some really hot stuff for u"

Thapki (shocked): "Me?"

Preeti: "Yes. Don't u wear all this?''

Thapki (blushing): "I do but these seem a lil too fancy for me"

Preeti: "Who said this is for u"

Thapki (confused): "U just did"

Preeti: "Oho I mean u will wear this but not for u but for ur hubby"

Thapki: "Noooo"

Preeti: "Yes. Now stop wasting time and tell the sales girl ur measurements so that we can select some nice stuff for u"

Thapki: "But Bhabhi..."

Preeti (with a very serious look this time): "Do u love ur husband?"
